Ibad Khan the genki books are great. They are pricey but if you have the money it’s a good investment. There’s a mnemonics guide from tofugu that is a pretty solid guide on learning hiragana and katakana if you’re a visual learner. Other resources I’ve yet to see are Minna no Nihongo, Japanese Pod 101, and Pimsleurs Japanese. There are probably more so if anyone has anything else feel free to add on。がんばっれ！ Edit: Also if you plan on trying out apps like Duolingo or memrise. Don’t solely rely on those to learn Japanese use it in conjunction with learning Japanese for review and as for Kanji there’s an app called imiwa? Which can take you through N5-N1 but kanji is something you have to just memorize there’s no easy way for kanji
I'm studying Japanese too! I have just learned hiragana and katakana in 3 hours, now alll I need to do is read japanese stories or sing basic japanese songs. Problem is, I haven't really gotten any good recommendations...
