@SomeDude0nline I;ve been thinking the same thing. his voice has the same characteristics as Steven tylers. Would be awesome to seem them both on stage together.
Finally you realize that. You really must be new here huh? Let me know when you get some videos, I'm looking forward to them. Hell I'll even subscribe.
@ZribTurd Actually, the overwhelming majority of bassists don't use picks (at least those in the upper echelon of technicality *sans Chris Squire*). However, I agree with ZribTurd in that they do serve their purpose in certain genres to allow the bass to cut through the mix more effectively.(hard rock, metal) Personally, I'm against them as well. But...as long as the bassist can play well without one, I won't complain. And, when it comes to Billy...he can do whatever the hell he pleases.
Lol, I play piano, saxophone, bass, guitar, a little clarinet, and mountain dulcimer. My main instrument is guitar, and your right, I am under thirteen, and at one of my bands gigs we were told we all play at college level. Also my mother is a music teacher. I've been exposed to TONS of music, from classical to jazz to blues to rock to metal. I don't really think I suck do you? Age has nothing to do with it by the way. U just avoided the topic at hand to make fun of my grammar since its all true
Lol, I got these assumptions, because you said I got that same coment in my jazz band a few years ago, and so i assumed you got it when you were 15 or 16. I dont even have a camera by the way so I can't really back up my evidence, but I promise you, I am not the idiot who can't even hold a pick that you think I am.
lol, true, but actually almost no bassists use picks. In fact, Billy Sheehan is famous for play fast like players with picks but using his fingers instead.
@billyfan8305 All famous bass players use picks... What so surprised bro? Nothing wrong with using a pick with a bass, he's using one because he probably felt the sound of the pick sound better in this song than fingers...
Also, I haven't deleted a comment since I started talking to you, so I'm not sure where your coming from, but it isn't correct. And why should I use good grammar with you? I obviously don't respect you. When you talking to somebody through texting, do u say: Laugh Out Loud, or do u say Lol?
You delete your comments a lot huh? No need to show off, I got the same compliments with my jazz band years ago, and I'm 17 now. And I realize this is the internet. But do you realize that you told me you said "You're" when you originally said "ur." It may be the internet, but show some intelligence nonetheless. That's funny though. Because you admit you're judging me. So I assume you're a little girl then, am I right? Heh. Bass isn't difficult bro when you've been playing for over 10 years.
RIP Pat we still miss you
Great song.

It's what happens when you're not being ignorant, or making assumptions you can't back up. Anyways, good day to you.
Whatever man, this whole deal is about the bass guitar, not how my grade in english looks. I'm done arguing.
