A good friend of mine who was a self taught Aboriginal artifact finder would have really enjoyed your video.John was a tractor driver on the largest tree nursery in Ontario Canada.I never could understand how he could find arrow and spear heads while driving through sandy fields at top speed. His findings over 25+ years were half a bushel basket of complete arrowheads,a quarter bushel basket complete spear heads, and 2 very full bushels of shards.
Hello, Donald and thank you for watching and commenting. Like your friend, I also drove tractors over the same fields in the video years ago. I often stopped the tractor to pick up the occasional artifact. Sounds like he found many and likely had an amazing collection! Have a great week, Donald!
Thank you for the view, comment, and subscription, Joe! I'm looking forward to next Spring to get out and hunt some more arrowheads. Much metal detecting until then. Have a great week!
Beautiful pieces! I live in Barstow, CA (Mojave Desert). I hunt around local ancient dry lake beds and watercourses that have been dry since the end of the Ice Age, so the few artifacts I do find are very old. Local petroglyphs are 10,000 years-old. The common material I find is beautiful red jasper, and I find mostly scraper tools and hand-axes. I like to think of the people that made and used these things, so long ago. Cheers and subscribed!
Thank you for watching and commenting, Jonathan! Sounds like you have a knack for finding old relics too. Super cool that you find super old ones. I've only found a couple of red ones here in Indiana. Most are the blue flint or white ones. Thank you so much for the subscription! I am limited on Indian artifact hunting due to crops and seasons, so I metal detect the rest of the year. Have a great weekend!
Hey man, not sure if you're ever hunted it, but the fields up here below Madden Hill always seem to have a lot of folks around them after heavy rains. Might be worth checking out. Let me know if you do. (Brent)

Thank you, Thomas! Indiana here. American Indians were all over Indiana. Have a great week!
