Eric Moulds and Peerless Price: That was an excellent one-two punch. Moulds especially. What a stud he was. Very underrated historically. Thanks for putting the video together.
What? Man I had the great pleasure of tracking his career once he was passed by The Jets Keyshawn and Pat's Terry Glenn and Eddie Kennison. Dude was an absolute monster with no QBs most of his career,.
@@singingchef23 First saw Moulds in training camp. He stood out as the best athlete on the field. He was smooth, strong, and fast. An amazing receiver.
What a disaster it was for New England when they lost Bledsoe on that cheap shot by the Jets. They had to bring in some backup named Tom Brady. That went absolutely nowhere and it was all downhill for the hapless Patriots.
It was the second ranked offense in 2002 behind Oakland i believe Bill Parcels and a few other "experts" picked them to make the superbowl in 2003 . Unfortunately Price and i think Moulds both got hurt 2003 . Like every offense , when you take away the weapons they just cant get it done
The Bills should have kept Bledsoe for another season. I still can't believe that they released him and handed the job to JP Losman who obviously wasn't ready to play. That decision led to the departure of Tom Donahoe and Mike Mularkey.
Bledsoe's play was steadily declining and erratic. Fans were clamoring to bench him and start Losman to see if he was the future or not. Neither was the future or going to get us anywhere.
Dxmn Eric Moulds was good. They should have freaking paid Price !?!? I remember they lost in KC year that year to pretty fall out contention…. Crushed me for like two weeks afterwards!?!?
That sucked. He didn't fit atlanta anyway. And then when he came back he was past his prime. Was awesome though early on with moulds, price and even reed in his rookie year.
He had 764 Receptions, 9,995 Receiving Yards and 49 Receiving Touchdowns. The Bills traded Eric Moulds was traded to the Houston Texans, in exchange for their fifth round draft pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, which the Bills would eventually use on future All-Pro defensive tackle Kyle Williams.
He wasn't at the level that he once had with the Bills. He was in his 11th season when he played in Houston. He played in 16 games, had 57 catches for 557 yards and had 1 TD.
Drew was a good QB, not great, but a guy who if he had pieces could play at a high level, he was a class act, his issue was he was a statue in the pocket, he took tons of sacks
The Bills should have kept him for a few more years to properly groom a QB. After him it was.. Losman , Holcomb , Fitz , Edwards , Orton , Lewis , Tuel , Taylor and I am probably missing others. What a dumb move on their part. Lee Evans with Bledsoe was going to be great. Lee Evans without Bledsoe was out of the NFL quickly.
Bledsoe only played two more years and sat on the bench for the second. Bills werent going to pay top dollar for a QB on the bench and not winning games. He was done.
Those 2000's uniforms had much more personality and style than most of the other 31 uniforms in the league. Specially those away game jerseys. And even today I do not think any team has more possible uniform combinations than the Buffalo bills. Even those Reebok throwbacks from the late 2000's look way better and are more comfortable than the actual Nike ones. And yes I think we have way too many white helmets on the division. Greetings from México.

Man I remember watching both. Moulds is my favorite player. People forget how Fast Price was.
Wish we had moulds now ! What a waste of an absolute beast!!!
I think Bledsoe had the best QB play for the 2000 bills era . I'm a Bledsoe fan and he played well.
I agree. Just like Kelly had Reed and Beebe, Bledsoe had Eric Moulds and Peyton Manning's old receiver Peerless Price.
No question. Drew was the best QB the Bills had for those long years between the Kelly era and the current Josh era.
@@aaroncurtis2089 definitely not.. Flutie was the best
@@HoweyJR_Nah, the best Bills drought QB was Kyle "I Left Something In My Truck, BRB" Orton
@@Brendan-Black during the drought it’s between Drew, Tyrod & Trent
The curse of the all-Navy uniforms.
Andy’s back w classics. Drew the real best qb of the drought
For sure. He at least gave us a winning season.
@@fudgenugget8875 2014 Bills had a winning season. Doesn't mean beans tho if it didn't get a playoff spot.
Let’s see..there was Tyrod Taylor, Kyle Orton , EJ Manuel, JP losman, Trent Edward, Fitz
Yeah Bledsoe was prob the best out of those.
Thanks for all the great videos go bills playoff bound let’s go
Holy shit I never realized Moulds was that dominant. What a beast
Unfortunately they lost many games by less than 3 points that year . Its pretty sad and telling when a team loses games while scoring 30+ points
He had 764 Receptions, 9,995 Receiving Yards and 49 Receiving Touchdowns.

I wished the Bills and Drew had won the Superbowl
that 70 yarder to Moulds at Miami in 02 was the first nfl game I ever went to! Thanks so much for sharing this :-)

When the bills had red helmets. I miss those a lot
Thanks for another great video! Go Bills!
We had some good moments but we was always behind not like that anymore hard to get use to 😂😂
First!! Well done my friend!!! Thank you !! And greetings from the best city in the world Buffalo NY

The 2002 offense, with the 2004 defense, easily could've gone to the super bowl
yeah, no
Steve P babe wait
Damn straight they could’ve

He was big, had a strong arm and got rid of the ball quickly. He could find a receiver in a second
dam based on these highlights they shouldve went to the superbowl
Dxmn Eric Moulds was good. They should have freaking paid Price !?!? I remember they lost in KC year that year to pretty fall out contention…. Crushed me for like two weeks afterwards!?!?
Broke my heart when they didn’t wanna pay price and traded him...
That sucked. He didn't fit atlanta anyway. And then when he came back he was past his prime. Was awesome though early on with moulds, price and even reed in his rookie year.
Buffalo had the worst uniforms during these days..!!!
Look like shit, play like shit
I don't know how the hell the Bills didn't get into the playoffs in the 2002 season.
Giorgio Gazzola bad defense and special teams. Plus, Travis Henry was fumbling every game
They cooled off in the backstretch and Bledsoe started playing sub-par, which would continue for the rest of his time in Buffalo and career.
Every team save the bills in the afc east that season went 9-7
@@RichV20 he did better in 2004

Price was awesome!!!
You want me to go unroll it?
I didn't realize that Drew Bledsoe had rushing TD's.
Memories i loved those Bills uniforms , Do JP Losman TD's
Christian Pemex he did
Ew worst uniforms ever

If we only had a defense at this time
I didn’t see the Seattle 4th an 1 fake qb sneak throw to mcgahee
RED WHITE AND DREW
Just imagine how good Lee Evans could have been if he had a good consistent quarterback during his time in Buffalo smh
Litchfield County snow warnings tri-state area stuff.
And to think we drafted JP Losman What theeeee fucck🤦♂️

I just want to know why most people hate those uniforms.
wheres the playoff wins since 1999 video????????????

God I hated these uniforms they introduced this year yet I bought a Nate Clements home dark yuck!!!
Those might be the worst uniforms in NFL history.
Drew was solid in 02, but awful in 03, and not very good in 04.
you nailed it
It’s because they changed coaches and got rid of Price...
I forget who the coach was but in 03 he limited Bledsoe's range on a lot of passes. Dinks and dunks
Tilden Katz it was mike Mularkey fucking guy was a joke! They should’ve kept Greg Williams or even wade Philips
He had no line infront of him
Bring back the red helmets.
