Again the same model year Escort here in the states was front wheel drive ugly bumpers and not a big fan base. I never understood why Ford & GM felt we in the states had to settle for boring small cars and drive the Chrome Valor barges down our throats. Good job!

You brits love the fords, I’ve always seen them as cheaply made and not properly engineered cars just like vauxhall, but those 2 brands were always the U.K.,s no 1 and 2 best sellers, the mind boggles.
Problem is German cars had such bland styling and ridiculous price tags
Had a 130 and a 105, the 105 was disappointing, the 130 was just right for b road thrashing.
I viewed that car 10 minutes before he reviewed it. Got in, closed the door and farted. Got out then closed the door to seal in the aroma. He's just savoured one of my pumps.

Had both, the 130 was great, the 105 was disappointing when burying the load pedal.
Last mot had 2 majors showing corrosion so may be nicer on top than below for a car with that milage u would think they would have looked after it underneath maybe a little bit more
