What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

... as of writing this, face accessories are 105 Robux minimum... I used to purchase a bunch of eyes accessories for my avatar in all sorts of re-colours, there's about 19 (maybe even more) of them I wanted to buy... and that's now going to cost me about 2000 Robux... when It should cost me 285... or 380 at most...
This has got to be the most ludicrous thing I've ever seen happen on Roblox how am I supposed to customize myself now, I am not spending $90 AUD just to buy a bunch of REALLY small and simple things for my character... ain't no way the company that does jack shit and relies off of the work of others needs more money??? I heard somewhere they aren't profiting or something... what the hell are they doing that isn't profitable??? Law suits??? why do we have to pay the price for their lack of moderation |:I
I caved in and bought TWO out of NINETEEN accessories I wanted for 210 Robux... thank goodness I can still do the 40% off trick on these but this is inexcusable, worst part is I doubt there's much we can do about it either and it's most likely only going to keep going up...
Yeah, Roblox raising prices is kinda stupid, though I can understand where this is coming from.
I remember before 2016, people were able to buy items on Roblox with Tix, a free currency that granted you 10 Tix each day if you logged into Roblox every day. You could convert them to Robux and for many users, this was a way to customize their avatars easily, especially if you were young and not allowed to buy Robux.
Considering the fact that Robux is already quite expensive, with prices being different in specific countries, I feel like they should give us more Robux than what we pay for. If I were to buy 800 Robux now, which is like 12 euros for me, I could realistically only purchase a couple of bundles and faces, or just a few accessories. It's just so stupid and I feel like if they want to make more money, they should listen to their community and what they want to see on the platform, rather than trying to appeal to investors and making their community mad.
They got face accessories for like 15 Robux

The Face ID and Touch key authentications to enter a roblox account is way more secure than the passwords. I've had my password stolen before downloading sketchy stuff and opening a few links. Feels way more safer.
It is more secure! After all, it's something personal and nobody would be able to unlock your authenticator using your Face ID and Touch ID, which is why I think it's such a good thing that Roblox will give players the option to choose between the two.
I just have no idea if kids are able to understand how a passkey works at all and if they're going to be able to login to Roblox this way. I think they'll continue using passwords, even if they're easy to guess at all.

Why did the price go up
Because of inflation, most likely. Things irl are getting much more expensive as well, would not be surprised if the price on Robux would raise and you'd pay more for what you get.
