I got a set of these yellow inserts and the same hyrax like tires for my trx4m build and they feel great, very similar to a flubrc insert. Watching and crawling along in my backyard 🤟
I hope they make wider inserts. I am cutting the outer ring off for smaller diameter tires, but adding foam in the sides for thicker tires. Glad they made these though, the price is great
Looks great! 😊 It's difficult to see in the video, but did you vent your tires or do your wheel rings have a big enough hole in them? I ordered a set of the yellow ones for a new mini crawler I'm building and this is the first time I will use silicon inserts.
@@cardboardcrawlersrc8805 See my post - impossible to vent unless you somehow chop up the ring, i have seen somebody do that, i tried to make several holes in each sidewall - not happy with that. There is no air movement inside these chambers of the structure like in a foam where one hole would be enough. Useless imo. Unless you want unvented balloon tires.
Yeah I have done that. The problem ends up being sidewall support. Especially in smaller sized tires like 52/54 mm but you still end up with the tire kinda folding/laying over on side hill cause there is just no support.
Oh those are from grizzlyworks rc. You can find him on Etsy. He makes an awesome lcg kit that goes right into the stock chassis rails and he makes a few other awesome products. His stickers are super cool too😂
Am i the only one that has a problem with they fact that they completely prohibit venting ? They seal the holes in the ring and even when you make holes in the tire there is no air movement inside these chambers of the silicone structure, i went so far to make four holes in each sidewall of the wheels to vent them, somebody else i have seen completely chopping them up inside because of that. Unvented this whole structure is incredibly stiff, i never run tires unvented. Completely unusable imo because of that.

Thank you for sharing. Love the rig and the crawl

Actually I need to vent these tires still. I think the holes in the rings are negated due to how tight the inserts fit on them

Nice run dude!!!
I’d be tempted to run the 24s with no foam at all??

Great video where did you get that Bearclaw sticker at I could use some of them
