Historic weight machines disappearing from stations

Northern Scales Company has been making weight machines for the last six decades. They operated over 1,500 machines across railway stations in India. Today, less than 400 remain.

these machines just came to my min I seriously didn't remember how fun it was and how much me and my sister used to anticipate summer vacations to be able to use this,this just crossed my mind andI just looked it up on google and was led here I can only say thank you for making my childhood fun

I used to take a tonga up Chelmsford Road to weigh myself at the New Delhi Railway Station on my first day of an India tour and return to weigh myself on the last day of the tour. Colorful memory of a time gone by.
