I think the ability of the Red Goblin to absorb symbiotes is just limited to Carnage since his symbiote (named Rascal) is a remnant of the Carnage+Goblin formula left in him after the Red Goblin Event
I heard Rascal was a piece of the Carnage introduced to the Anti-Venom serum but they changed its origins to being a Carnage Bedlam hybrid which doesn't make sense to me, I still don't know how Rascal came to be.

@farisad5123 I know about Misery but it's more of an Anti-Venom Carnage hybrid rather than the Carnage symbiote being altered by the Anti-Venom serum like Agent Anti-Venom or Silence which I was hoping Rascal would be but Misery is very cool too. I'm hoping for Liz and Normie to tell each other they have symbiotes and have a mother son bonding activity fighting crime, that would be cool and kinda wholesome.
Red Goblin is essentially a parallel to Dylan's Venom and him being able to destroy symbiotes

1:08 I really do wonder what carnage was based on can someone tell me? I'm not sure I heard of it before.
In the spiderman/batman crossover carnage and joker got in a fight because Joker didn't like that carnage didn't have any style in his kills. Carnage just kills without finesse or art, which pissed off Joker.
I can't believe they brought back an old story concept in the 90's where Carnage and Venom use their symbiotes to go through the Internet, and it actually works here. And I enjoy that Miles is out here doing, y'know, actual Spider-Man adventures. Not trying to undo his marriage, fight his clones, or having someone take his girlfriend.
He's just trying his best to be a hero, save people and deal with things in his personal life. Just some quintessential Spider-Man stuff right there, and it's going to get even crazier following the end of this event since he's going to *FINALLY* fight the Hob Goblin and then fight Hightail, a new villain introduced through the Cape Killers!

In the Miles Morales video game, he uses the tether web to connect different electrical devices together. So it's definitely already a thing.
I would love that. Miles actually did combine his bioelectric with his webs in Spider-Men for longer range & created bioelectric webs before (when he was sick) but he hasn't mastered it yet.
Hopefully when Miles gets older he'll get the hang of it (bioelectric webs) & use the webshooters to increase his range like he did in Spider-Men.

This story is another example of how grey the top tier superheroes function. Some will let things transpire to see as if to see if the world can save itself. Some will observe.
Tony does appear in the story, though it's near the end. He helps Miles and The Cape Killers fight Cletus.
@@windghost2 Yeah and he sat back and observed an entire city get overrun like some benevolent greek god. A villain he could have easily taken out, was using his technology and the people were throwing everything at the villain. Tony Starks knows how many times his name spoken on daily average.

But when he does show up, he beats the shit out of Cletus with a *sick* new armor and then gives Miles a temporary armor to help him fight Cassidy.
