This pan is the best pan i heve ever bought it is simply fa tastic the problem is SOMEBODY burned it it is such a pity I was furious it is just fa tStic for frying eggs -nothing sticks to it-hopefully Lidl will have it again but dont hd your breath. I will have to start searching elsewhere.
I'm not sure why a few people have said they can't even fry an egg in this and that everything sticks because I LOVE my pan! I fry eggs ALL the time and nothing at all sticks! I can actually take a paper towel and just wipe it out and it's clean! It feels heavier like cast iron and it heats very evenly. I absolutely LOVE my Ernesto fry pan and I'm on a mission for a larger one.
I have had this pan for about a year. It's STILL working. I want to buy another one but the Lidl's here in the States don't seem to have them anymore. Amazon doesn't have this brand either. :-(
I am a cast iron pan person but let's face it, they can be a lot of work. This Ernesto pan is amazing! It cleans up easily, never sticks, has a nice weight and if i put tomatoes or other acidic foods it doesn't mess with the finish. The best part was the price. Very affordable. Lidell is great.
Agree it take alot of time to build propper temperature. I use this pan for cooking fish only and it perform super for me. I have it for over a year and eat fish 3 times a week, pan is performing gr8 on induction cooker. But i agree it is not for everyones use. Cas Iron is very good for induction but maintenance take some time.
Learn the temperatures before talking. After 1 year of use i have never had anything sticking and always geting crispy skin on my fish. Pan is not the issue.
Hmmm, it sounds a bit more like "human error". I've never had anything stick or burn but I'm certain it is very possible IF, and only IF, I didn't watch the temperature and neglected to tend to what I was cooking. Not ERNESTO's fry pan problem.

I don’t know if you’re still looking but I’m about to buy one at a Lidl in North Carolina.

Is it suitable for induction? It's in front of you 😂
It is useless for induction even tho it says it is suitable - It is barely able to simmer using induction - gets nowhere near hot enough to fry.

Absolutely terrible. Everything sticks. Burnt on inside of pan. Waste of money
