Short answer. It's always late because Western countries are not dictatorships, which means they have to make multi level decisions, negotiations and consultations before sending anything.

Yet Ukraine demonstrates incredible speed in devlopping tools the west is still scratching their heads to figure out how to deal with their own institutional structures for how to catch up with the threats incoming from all sides! At the same time, the west are fighting open and covert threats internally, which is erroding the trust in governments... lots of work, very little time, lots of frustrations... patience, love and resolve in making things go foward! Be well.

Glenn Grant provided factual information on the reasons for the chronic delivery delays of Western weapons to Ukraine. I appreciate Glenn Grant sharing his well-honed knowledge & experience of what it takes to win a war. According to him, Ukraine's government needs to make important changes... let's hope that Zelensky will have the humility to listen and consider...a rapid Victory for Ukraine is a necessity.

True. But I can hope and think the issue has been discussed. High rank military officers shouldn't be left to interview by clueless civilian influencers, but by current or former military personnel whom understand what a man such as Lt Col. (Retd) Glen Grant represents and is: a very experienced and efficient combat weapon who has more high level military experience than Yewleea has lived on this planet! I did find this interview excruciating, I could tell the Col. felt it too, at certain moments and contained himself like a champ. But to extract the desired info from him, of course someone else was required. But you do with what you have, I guess.

*The answer is very simple: the West is always too late with arms deliveries and always delivers only half-heartedly too little, because* nobody in NATO countries sheds a drop of blood and NATO does NOT want a quick victory. *NATO has a different goal: to bleed the Russian army dry and destroy it. That's why it has to go long and slow: Russia brings weapons and soldiers into Ukraine and they are destroyed there.* NATO could not achieve this goal more cheaply - without spilling its own blood.
*If NATO were a real ally, it would have informed Ukraine of this goal, so that it could prepare for it and coordinate everything in such a way that as many Ukrainian lives as possible are protected and the goal is still achieved.*

      For what its worth,
I think Biden means well but his presidency (not just with Ukraine) has suffered from a few problems.
First, he has been very slow to make decisions, from dealing with the border before it became a political liability, to finally allowing Ukraine to use Himars, Atakems, ect, many months too slowly. I personally, do not think the risk of nuclear war is as imminent as those who don't want us to support Ukraine claim.
Second, Although Biden has a generally good instinct, he has been very bad at the execution. The withdrawal from Afghanistan, How to deal with Israel / Palestinians, and the Ukraine / Russian war for example.
Last and maybe most important, Biden has been a horrible almost non-existent communicator which has let isolationists like Trump take the narrative on all kinds of issues including this war.

It is something to consider that Israel was under attack by terrorists, and that Biden already sent the USMC to what the obvious diversion was while Israel has basically gone rogue at this point. Though crucial to squash the terrorists, Israel has little regard for collateral damage. The USMC left Israel before a casualty but the U.S.A. is still involved remotely, wondering if there will be another move by this Axis of dictatorships.
Now, action needed more than ever, and yet, leadership might still stall this in to the dirt from lack of relation and retaliation, which is ultimately causing the dissent, loss of confidence, and moral war fatigue in their own counteies.

Because Ukraine only wants aid if it is entirely free. The US overwhelmingly passed lend/lease in 2022 and Ukraine snubbed it for two years before the offer finally expired. The blame lies with Ukraine. I don't recall precisely, but that offer didn't require repayments to begin until roughly 50 years hence, and it was 0 interest in the interim. So, while currencies inflate, the debt doesn't, and it winds up being a small fraction of what was given. Further, there is always the chance such aid as debt may simply be forgiven. You have to take the aid on offer as that likely represents what is politically realistic for the giver. The stubborn refusal to do this was the problem.
The alternative answer is because Biden and co. don't want you to win; they want you to not lose too badly. But if you would have used the lend/lease, you could have sidestepped Biden and co. more.
