This video is a walkthrough install modification mod guide for how to install the cowcow upgrade replacement hammer for Tokyo Maui Hi-capa gasblowback airsoft replicas. I show the installation of an upgrade hammer for the tokyo marui hi-capa series. This works for many hammers, not just the cowcow brand.
I go by Wyhaq here on youtube and on social media platforms. Pronounce my callsign however you like, but I pronounce it as: Why-Hack. I like providing educational resources for all things airsoft, and I might sprinkle in some airsoft entertainment from time to time. The main airsoft toys that this channel will focus on will include the AAP-01 by Action Army (my current favorite platform), the G-Series by Tokyo Marui, and the Hi-Capa by Tokyo Marui. I work for a local airsoft arena and retail, and am a tech for g-series, hicapa, and aap-01. No toys used in my videos are customer’s property. Toys used in my videos come from three sources: my collection, shop customs, and shop commissions. My goal here on youtube is to provide a family friendly source of education for the airsoft community. I may do videos on product, news, tech stuff, gameplay, interviews, tours, and competition. I am here to help, if you have any questions or video requests, make sure to let me know in the comments section. As I am a college student, I can’t go spending money willy nilly. If the hammer is too tight, remove material from the hammer not the frame. There is a lip of extra material on the left side of the hole in hammer. Use a needle file or sandpaper to slowly remove a small amount of material until the hammer fits snugly. Do not remove too much or the hammer will be sloppy. ✌🙂

How do remove the hammer strut why do a full review but not show how you popped the hammer off the rod

I have a few problems with my hi capa, sometimes the hammer doesn’t stay back and sometimes a double trigger pull, I have check the sear everything’s in the right place, could u do a vid on possible solutions to these problems I’m having, I’m not sure if it’s worn down parts or broken parts lol.

Are there any differences on the hammer on diff brands of hi capa? like if my hi capa is not tm spec and i used a tm spec hammer, will it fit?

besides the looks a steel hammer is essential when you exchange your hammer/trigger related internals for steel parts (or vice versa, he will need a steel hammer-sear in the future... thats the part that holds the hammer cocked and releases it when you pull the trigger). otherwise the oem zinc parts will wear out quickly rubbing on steel. when you shoot competetive or play airsoft ALOT steel parts are a must have, at least for me. btw, using a steel hammer, you will need a hammer protector pad made out of 7075 aluminum (maple leaf, aip, ect) or the steel hammer smashes your soft oem lower frame over time until it breaks.
