Hey kevin, I've noticed what made the biggest difference to handling on my wltoys a959b was adding wheel bearing grease into the spider gears in the diffs. Stock they come with almost nothing and it makes the car really easy to spin out. I've noticed with the grease it wont spin out near as easy as it did and it made it so much more fun to take on track day. Just thought I'd tell you and everyone on here.

They are same car so if your swapping motors doesn't matter which car you drop brushless into.

Hi Kev,
I did something silly stupid to my a959b. I bought a set of 12mm tires with the red pin stripe from Banggood and hollowed them out and fit the original tire rims inside of em. Fit perfectly. Fu(k the extensions, pure garbage 🗑. But anyway, I super glued the original tire rimes in the Banggood rims and am very happy with the results. Try it brother... 🤪🤪🤪

Kevin you gotta make sure you glue the wheel with the a959b or a979b or they will destroy the rims I know from experience!!!!

I just slap a rollcage/body from one of those $15 crawler. It protects it.
It looks like a 1/18 yati...plus I can relocate the esc to mount on top of the
center brace. 2200 mah 3s fits perfect...you just have to take drimel
to the chassis to make it flush so the battery can sit tight...
You;re going to need it to run the 3650....duct tape the tires.lmao

kev i think the blue motor is the stupid crazy fast one because it got much more kv than the red one it will probably have not so much torqe because it s smaller but its a small car so it want need much torqe.

Please check out the carbon fiber frame and all aluminum upgrades. I put a mamba micro x in mine recently and it flies now. Love your videos!!!

I had the same brushless esc and motor as the red one and when i ran it on 3s it burnt out within a few minutes, I'm not sure if it was just my one or what but I hope yours fairs better.

I got one like 2 years ago and the battery exploded today and caught on fire be careful Kevin with the battery I wouldn't want it to explode on you

I had a a959 A was fun but being in the US it took forever to get parts same with the FS racing truck i got from banggood. ...cool but being in the states it sux sold them both
Omg let's fricken go your gonna upgrade these cars oh yeah kev look up a959 parts kit on ebay you'll see lots of parts for like 90 bucks and for the electronics I heard gool rc has good brushless motors and esc and gool rc has nice remote and receiver

Lol I knew you was going to say a course, Kev I love your videos mate and you probably will not see this but even if 5,000 more people made UA-cam channel similar to yours it would not complete or hurt your channel, that's rubbish mate, and anyway your past 50,000 subs with a crazy high watch time, youtube promotes your channel over all other small channels, and take makeup channels, cooking channels, film channels, gaming channels and all over topics theirs thousands of different subjects and thousands or channels on those topics, they are not competing as such, there's billions of people around, so people charging to help people excessive money in this way I don't agree with, but each to their own. So I have a 2011 ecx 1/10 short course truck rear wheel and I want to convert it to brushless, but I don’t know what motor to use, I’ve done some research, I’m asking what motor, gear ratio, and battery you would suggest without blowing 120$, I want it to reach max speed, thanks!

I have same truck... goolrc combo is a good cheap option and a TSky 60 or 120amp esc. Can be found on eBay 👍😎
While you're at it get a replacement metal gearbox, there's a plastic gear in ECX transmissions and it doesn't last long with brushless motor.

Kev, use Emax 3103E 3-wire servo for the servo upgrade on those A9x9 rc's.

How do you solve the problem of charging the batteries using the regular charger from a WLToys RC? when is charging the red lithe is on but after 10 or 15 minutes goes out. Why WLToys five us this charp battery chargers?

i'm only speaking for myself obv, but youtube is for the very few really, i for one have no interest i it, (im a viewer not a creator which some ppl these days seem to confuse alot) ive worked in tv production in a music sense (jingles/themes etc tbh, sound production) but hey your channels great obv kev hense im here :) youtube really isnt for 9 outa 10 ppl tho, thats all im saying :) alotta ppl crave some sort of entitled fame on youtube (not you kev obv) but youtube is for much less ppl than ebay, put it that way kev ;) keep up the amazing work bud, il come down and see ya some time next summer on a bash :) tho im not really an rc guy just have old stuff from my teens, retro styler lol

Hey kev i was thinking the servo has 5 leads if you have an old servo snip the leads of it and snip the 5 leads off the wltoys servo and work out what 3 leads need to make it work maybe its a case of joining 2 leads together :)

I love these things I fall in love with you more and more all the time if you want to get a cheap motor form brushless ocday it's like 30 bucks and it comes with an ESC we got my dad's two wheel drive slash up to 40 I wonder how you could do with this
