I wish Eric would have never taken this bout. His opponent's team wanted him to come down to 161lbs. Eric is a natural Super Middleweight. I was straight up with him, saying don't take this fight or better yet, do not go below 165lbs. Eric struggled to make the weight. I'm just glad that he's learned from this. He has a whole new team around him because his former team failed him miserably. I'm expecting for Eric to make a strong comeback here in 2020 and with that opportunity to showcase his talent on ESPN against Edgar Berlanga, he should make the most of it and I'm expecting for him to do well.
