- This one was really hard to watch because of it's length and yes i've seen some parts of the clips before but it doesn't make it easier. Just really doesn't. Love these guys and I appreciate who they are!!

Jungkook probably was surprised to see how grown men acted like this. He was surrounded by his hyungs with humility, love and good manners. I am glad JK learned from the best. I really felt bad for him, like it opened his eyes on how things are outside of their circle.

Yes, it still does. I don't really want to see that clip again even if they are BIG now. I cried the whole time, again. JK was (or still is?) a very shy and introverted person, and him being treated that way was so MEAN and if not for the other members who supported him, he could have given up and might not be who he is now. ARMYs, correct me if I'm mistaken.

When I was a baby ARMY, I always found comments about "Jin being the worst dancer in BTS" but when I watched "Danger" and "Boy in Luv" dance practice, I was like "Bish, WHERE?!" If he's the worst dancer then what am I? 😂
I swear I was always searching for the bad dancer that they were saying and I only find an incredible hard worker dancer . They really have to revise their definition of dancer because a dancer is someone who dance and Jin is a pro as a matter of fact for 8 years now so more skilled than average dancer . Let’s respect him because he is a dancer

Second, is he at JHope or Jimin level, no. Will Jin ever be able to perform the 2016 MAMA opening JHope's Boy Meets Evil and Jimin's Lie combination. Again, no. However, Jin is a fantastically beautiful dancer because he does extremely well with virtually having no dance training before joining as a BigHit trainee, while JHope and Jimin had years of dance exposure, experience, and formal training! They all perform beautifully and with all their hearts and souls! Some people are just haters!!!!
for to the burger man, he learned his lesson well in 2020.. Jungkook and the members back to his show in 2020 .....He was very afraid of ARMYs because what he did to Jungkook, but the kind Jungkook again used the phrase “Kill them with your kindness.” The interviewer said that Jungkook sent him a message before The show At the beginning of the show, Jungkook hugged him and That man apologized to him again ....
I can't believe how mean people and jealousy can reach, and Jungkook was just an innocent child at that time can't defend himself ... Jungkook was exposed to situations like this in his childhood it's Hurt but this is what made him a confident and strong man now ..

Your last parahraph.. I 100% agree with. I also agree that it made him the strong person he is now and I am so glad they started their own variety shows.. They don't need anyone. Jungkook is just that great of a person. After all of that, he still used kindness and I respect him for that.

Jin is amazing at being low key but savagely passive-aggressive. RM's face after Jin's speech on honest music is simply *chef's kiss* and showing off their award at the airport is just flex on the highest level.
Jealousy is what fuels it. I think people recognised that they were a threat very early on. And watching this was hard but I'm so proud of them and the reason I love them is because they were the underdogs and came out on top without lashing out at any one. Thank you.

Exactly, as RM was already getting established in Seoul as an underground hip-hop rap artist; while Suga, known as Gloss, had made himself known in the Daegu underground hip-hop rap community for his beats!!!! That's one reason he went to Seoul to compete for a staff position, as songwriter/producer, at BigHit. Bang saw the double lethal genius combination of joining RM and Suga on the idol team, lying to Suga with the story he tells - I was told I wouldn't have to dance!!
Both were considered the next best generation the underground had, so yeah - jealousy was a major part in why B-Free was so nasty because they had already, by simply signing with any music company, exceeded what he couldn't, being 10 years their senior in age!!!!!
And now, it has been so difficult for these variety shows to have BTS on their shows. I am so glad Big Hit decided to make their own shows solely for BTS. This has protected them in many ways.
Yeah the burger incident still breaks my heart.. jk looked so happy telling them how big the burgers were and then his expression when they refused them is so heartbreaking
Well, this was hard to watch. The boys deserves so much better. The hamburger episode breaks my heart, I can see the disappointment/pain in his face.. How can people be so cruel.

I cried the whole time watching Jungkook being mistreated by that person, Jo SeHo. Yes, they met again this year on the show, You Quiz on the Block, but our JK was so gracious (although JK aimed a little subtle comment), I felt proud. It was actually harder for that guy since he does not know what is going on in that Namjoon-acquired brain of JK. Hahaha!
He was so young and impressionable. It had to cause him tremendous pain and embarrassment. He was so sweet to forgive them later.

The one about Jungkook always brings me to tears 😭 His innocent and dejected face when they were not accepting his food. No one deserves to be treated like that. 😭💔

The Jin one. I still don't understand why people say his dancing is bad. He may not be able to freestyle (most people can't) but I've always found the way he dances, elegant and aesthetic. I was shocked when I entered the fandom and heard people saying his dancing is not.
I still remember how bad i cried for kook when he was so badly rejected and mocked on that variety show. It felt so insulting and if that happened to me i would probably start crying. Jk was really strong, he was just a kid back then
At his age I think I would have almost burst into tears then got extremely angry and been very aggressive yep I was a fireball at his age. Oh and I did martial arts and body building because I was a rather small girl and wanted to be physically strong and not a weak little girl.
I still can’t bear to see Jung Kooks baby face holding back tears, as a grown woman with kids of my own it breaks my heart, I want to slap those stupid men with their belittling attitude, he may have been the maknae but that is no excuse for rudeness. Those boys had been hungry since they started their training, for him to go to the effort and expense to buy that food would have been a HUGE thing for him and for them to treat it as trash would have hurt to the bone. About Jin being "bad at dancing" if you show a non-kpop person their dance practice, they wouldn't even be able to tell who's main dancer or the least good at dancing.
They couldn't even put the same amount of energy, passion, and heart BTS does at their performances. I just want the haters to try dancing in front of a mirror and see if they could even reach Jin's skill and grace at dancing.

I sometimes wonder how the frick are they able to continue being passionate and uplifting- when everyone since from the start have been mistreating them. They're truly strong... Hybe and BTS deserve everything they got and more. I'll never stop loving and supporting them.

ARMY protecting BTS and calling out the bs is the greatest feeling ever, from the start we've been fighting for these boys because they're too humbled to say anything. And BTS protecting ARMY feels the same, they appreciate us more than anyone. Then HYBE protecting BTS is pure euphoria, they staked their small company on BTS because they know the genuine passion they have. They're family at this point. Who's boss would tell you to "always write from your inner selves"? even HYBE knows what ARMYs want and continue giving us quality contents.
We've come so far... and we'll continue to do our thing and just get better every time.

As an exdancer, I can state Jin has always held his own in performances but he is becoming very much stronger and it really shows. He is a pleasure to watch as a dancer!
Yes, there is a lot of prejudice. Since I live in the Southern US, I just ignore the ignorance for what it is. I just don’t know what else to do. There are also many, lovely people who are willing to see what a new group can do, even if it’s only new to them.
The Jungkook incident, hitting western culture, is also based in Korean culture, causing JK to lose face simply because he is young. It is despicable. Yeah, the added piano and violin for heart strings is overkill.
I find these collections on hate to be very hard going. We know there is so much facing BTS. The best education, though, is to see how BTS handles them, because they are handled. I was very impressed with RM bringing up the controversy with James Corden. I had done the only thing I could think of. The night he made those jokes, I turned him off and he hasn’t been on since until RM worked on some rehabilitation. I would say Corden’s apology was real, though I haven’t started to watch again.
BTS has done a beautiful job understanding and working for The symbiosis with Army. I think Army has been a real protection, at times. I can be worried about overreacting, but Army does try to self regulate, thank heavens.

I cannot describe how annoyed and heartbroken I am whenever I see BTS' members or the group as a whole receive any hate. These guys has been through so much, their hard work, skills and effort have been constantly downgraded and looked down on since the very beginning of their career... At the same time, they're definitely one of the strongest people I've ever seen and they never fail to impress me with their patience and sincerity. They don't deserve any of this.
Those haters are jealous...They can't just accept how amazing BTS is...It's not just their talents that draw ARMY to love them, but their individual characters. BTS is inspiring and healing a lot of people. I hope those haters will experience love just what we ARMY is receiving from BTS. BTS is love...ARMY is happy because of BTS...💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Out of all the hate videos of BTS the one with Jungkook's incident with the burgers is the one I hate to watch the most. I only watched it one time and I can't bring myself to watch it again. It really is very heart breaking.

@@pamelajbarber4819 I only know he's a Korean variety show host. I'm guessing he's still around since JK and the guys went to see him years later. That instance, they said, was the reason (or one of them) why they started Run BTS and Bon Voyage - their own variety shows. It really irks me when people who treated them so badly when they were starting, are all super sweet to them Now and expect them to forget.

honestly I've seen several shows not taking BTS seriously as their guests back in their rookie days only to lick their own spit and suddenly act like their best friends after BTS became worldwide sensation during their latest appearance at those programs

Thank God that incident was in the past for him and he lived up to it when 5 years later they were invited to the special program they did for them, I suppose to turn the page in some way.

And being invited solo to a variety show, and you being the nicest maknae to your hyungs, did the nicest thing offerinf food to everyone, and beinf rejected. Like, how? Like your eyes are being opened to the harah reality you are not used to. Like after that incident, i am very sure he appreciated and loved his hyungs more than he could ever do. So heartbreaking! I personally don't get the haters. If you don't like something, turn it off, watch something else, do better yourself. In Australia we call it the 'tall poppy syndrome' some people feel they need to cut down something or someone who has risen up tall. Never got it myself. We should be happy for a success that is hard earned. BTS's success is because of their genuine hardwork and their beautiful relationship with ARMY. 💜
I still cry over the scene of Jk offering burgers and being rejected. It hurts bcs I can relate to that and when I say it hurts, it hurts. You have expectations of people being happy at ur thoughtful gift only to be rejected. He was strong enough not to break down right there. Jungkook is even strong enough to forgive them.

I am so sick and tired of people commenting on them wearing makeup. ALL people who goes on TV, stages and films wear makeup. Even the news anchors wears makeup. Whoever mentions about that are bigots who tries to cut them down a notch.

Its really sad because we are always seeing all the hard work our boys do, they genuinely love making music and performing so it really make me mad when people discredit them or attack one of the members
People are so bored nowadays that it’s so frustrating like get a life or find something to improve yourself because it’s embarrassing at this point : calling Jin a bad dancer as if he haven’t been professionally trained and danced for 8 years now , embarrassing a child for simple hamburger . That’s still not sit right with me for all this time , BTS is strong and will continue to go strong ! Although my heart does hurt at seeing the clip of Jungkook and the "burger accident", I also feel that not many ARMY understand the full context of this video clip. It has always been circulated without the full context of what the show was and the events leading up to it. I'm not trying to defend how the senior comedians acted (even if it was for humor, the disrespect from a senior entertainer to a junior is still obvious).
Basically during an unaired Pilot episode of this show, a fan voting was done to divide the cast into two teams, "Flower" (luxury living conditions) and "Dirt" (poor living conditions). Jungkook won this vote with a large margin thanks to ARMY and joined the "Flower" team, whereas the senior comedians had the least votes and joined the "Dirt" team. As the "Flower" team cast won by a rather large margin, Jo Se-ho wanted to instill "loyalty" amongst the "Dirt" team, so they would stick together. He made a pledge to swear loyalty to his team.
This is why he acted so rudely to Jungkook in the next voting, by moving his seat (cushion with his name on it) and rejecting his gifts out of "loyalty". Seo Jang Hoon also joined the "act" when Jo Se-ho started it. The other members of the "Dirt" team did not join, as they probably felt uncomfortable doing so. But regardless, this bond of team "loyalty" was unknown to Jungkook himself, as he was not in their team or behind the camera to hear it.
The "Dirt" team "loyalty" was consistent throughout the aired series, and it became a basis for a lot of jokes and betrayals, in good humor.
Jungkook seemed a lot more confortable during later episodes of the series and was praised for his amazing deducive skills when choosing "swap" medals! (Allows self or chosen member to change teams.)
Jungkook's reaction was sincere to their acting at the time, however after the series was aired the cast did say they got along well off-camera. There are still negative reactions from many ARMY after this accident, but hardly anyone knows the full story since it has only been clipped this way.
Even if it doesn't change your opinion on how Jungkook was treated, I hope anyone who reads this can walk away as a more informed ARMY!

At 17:47, Cho Se-ho was a comedian and entertainer who was very fond of South Koreans. He acted indiscreetly for the fun of the show. The naive jungkook was so embarrassed, and the live broadcast upset Army.
And we met again earlier this year on a program called Uquiz, which unravelled the awkwardness and filmed by calling Jo Se-ho before the show.
27:55 Bi-free now ignored Suga, 20, who released the album, and rm, 19, without cheering him on as a musician; the young suga and rm were shocked.
Bang Si-hyeok's pd went to protest but did not meet.
Their wounds were contained in the rap line song.

The fact that i just skipped the jungkook hamburger part, 😭i just can't see that ..he was so young and trying to put a smile on his face when clearly he was sad and hurt.. i literally cry evertime i see it...i luv him so much. Also those haters who always finds fault or say that Jins dancing is lacking..I mean Jin started dancing in his 20s, he put so much work n effort in learning the difficult dances n he is not only keeping up with the members but also doing it so well that i can't even tell that he started in his 20s. N BFree .. i still pity him, I saw 1 of his music videos n i could sleep on it because it is sooooooo boring.
That hamburger incident is nothing more than a grownup man bullying a young boy and the bystanders are cowards by going along with the bullying. That makes them look like big loosers.

The fact that those same people who refused JK back then, bend their backs ninety degrees to bow and respect BTS now, and yet BTS respects them back shows how much our boys are growing up. This is the BTS we stan.

I think V was the most sensitive regarding people criticizing Jin for his dancing because that was the reason they had a spat before a concert years back. He felt that Jin wasn’t moving fast enough and that led to an argument. Having matured, I think V understands that while dancing is not Jin’s strongest suit, being a vocalist first and foremost, he always does his best for the group and his fans. V loves his Jin hyung and I believe he doesn’t ever want Jin to feel that way again since he knew how hurt Jin was of the criticism because it came from him, his beloved brother. And I think he took that a bit personally, to mend that and to reassure Jin of his talents.That was beautiful to watch.

These really are SO hard to watch… but sweet and innocent baby jungkook and the hamburgers legit hurts my heart… it was his FIRST time being in a variety show by himself… he spends time with the most kind hyungs who love and adore him and really always took the time to baby jungkook and it’s like they loved doing it so much to keep him innocent and pure made them so happy and you can always see that on their faces…. So being confronted, rejected and humiliated by men who for the most part talked about it while ignoring him and not even looking at him when he was talking to them… his little face struggling to force a smile just hurts to see. The sad thing is that this type of treatment for idols on variety shows is common and the amount of idols who have to smile and take it is just so disheartening…and those shows for the most part is to expose the idols and embarrass them… and excuse this bad behavior by saying “we were joking,” and “people are too sensitive,” and of course there’s my favorite which is the “apology,” where they say theyre “sorry that you took it that way,” kinda shit…. It’s gross.
The rm and yoongi talk with the shit rappers is hard to watch bc they’re being so polite and respectful back regardless of the shitty things being hurled at them… they don’t even say anyone is wrong… they just try to explain how they feel and say they respect the others feelings… and it’s not just for show… it’s bc this is who namjoon and yoongi are… the kind of people they are is so far above those guys that it’s crazy

Yess ,BTS attend a variety show in 2020 or 2021 ( i don't remember the exact ) and there was 2 host ,one of them was the same host who rejected Jungkook's hamburger.. But i thik they talked before join the show ,and resolve all the issue ,he must been apologized bc of his shameful act in the past.. Our Kookie is soo humble..😭😭💜💜

Caught raising hand on him in order to slap in a video in 2015..saying "Get lost while I'm still asking nicely"...At an event in 2013/14 Same manager seen harshly pulling away shawl from JK (which was put on him by seokjin seeing him shivering in cold.) left baby JK shivering in cold again & he still kept that innocent smile of lost kid who don't knew/able to understand what & why these happening with him.
Even back in school days JK got bullied badly for his name sounding similar to fermented soybean stew in korean, thus He don't like soyabean soup from that time until now..he had such effect of that bullying on him!

The Big 3 Agencies during BTS's earlier days had a niche in Korean BC and collectively they tried every trick in the book to lock out BTS. It broke my heart many times the way BTS was mistreated in their own Country.

Why can't people mind their own business? Go and love someone without wasting your time hating someone. If you are a fan of someone/ any idol group you know how much effort they put into their music. Every artist puts effort into their music. It's just that some do more and some do less. Yet they all do things going being in different circumstances. So take your time to support and be a strength to the person / the group you love without being a reason for someone's agony or else in the worst case reason for someone's death. I'm a fan of many different K-pop groups. And I see they all go through tough times yet give us better and more comforting music. If you don't like someone's music go and just listen to something you like. Just don't give a damn about what you don't like. Just see BTS. They reached their goals more than they have imagined. And those haters, are still in the same place like stagnant water. Don't compare any group with the other. If you are really bored without comparing someone with another, just compare yourself with the group you hate and you'll feel miserable coz you are not at a level even to be compared with them. Then you'll feel the pain you have given to others.
