Beautiful altered paper clips I’ve made them before but never with collage or adding brads you gave yours a very special touch & I love the different sizes. Definitely will be giving this a try. Thanks for sharing 🥳❣️
Your voice is so calm and soothing, I could listen to you talk all day. I also love your work, so it's win win. Thank you for sharing your work (and voice) with us :)
I’m so happy to have found you and your soothing voice and presentation. I’ve hit Subscribe and the bell...can’t wait for more learning from you! Thank you!
I've been making journals hoping, I improve each time. I've been watching mass making of ephemera, trying to collect so it makes it quicker to fill journals.
Martyna, absolutely you can use the metallic embroidery thread in your machine. I buy the best one. I use the gold and silver most. However they come in multiple colors. I’ve seen with my machine since I was 8 years old. My newer machine is nothing fancy. As with all thread even thread for paper best brand is always going to be kinder to your machine I hope this helps.
Hi Martyna, it's nice seeing you again. I"m catching up on your wonderful self healing workshops, just have fun!!! I too suffer from anxiety & depression & it can be very disabling at times, but never feel disappointed in yourself because of it. I heard this today, " the hardest relationship we will ever have is with ourselves". This is so true because it will affect our decisions, our work, our beliefs, our weaknesses, our strengths etc... Some days it like having an imaginary friend because no one can see her or him except us. Martyna, you will always work through these trying times & we will always be there for you. I get it & I'm sure other subbies get it too, your never alone within this crafting community. 😘😘😘😘
I make my hidden paper clips in this same way, and have found that if the glue doesn’t go all the way to the edge, then the papers eventually pull apart, or split apart, and I have to add glue. Also, while they are gluing, I slip them over a piece of folded wax paper to ensure that there are no bits of glue to make the front and back stick together.
There are certain artists that are so unique, that when I see their thumbnail, I know it's them. And that's you! The colours and things you do are so vibrant and BEAUTIFUL. LOVEly creations!
So glad to see you back so often. The craft therapy is a great idea and of course watching you create all these beautiful elements is so much fun!! See you soon!!!
you can use the machine embroidery thread but, you may have to adjust your bobbin tension. One trick is to use it in the bobbin and use a coordinating cotton poly thread on top. You also might have to change the needle to a different type of needle that works with metallic threads because they tend to fray more easy.
Yes, you can use embroidery thread in your machine. I do all the time. The biggest risk when it comes to thread is that the lower quality threads or the real cheap threads are prone to breaking easily and knotting up in your machine so just be aware of that.
embroidery thread is just thicker, you might need embroidery needles so they have q bigger eye. you should be fine. do tests, make sure your bobbin tension is good too :) metalic thead can be a nightmare as it breaks a lot easier then normal cotton thread so sew slow!
You will have better success when you get a machine needle that goes with the thread you want to use. Ask a shop in your area what is best for your sewing machine and the thread you want to use. Hope this helps.
Ah, Coffee. I love it. I can't drink it black either. My mom, and sister drank it black. Martyna, I can't say enough how much I'm loving these craft therapy videos. Thank you so much for doing them. As another person said about your style, yes, when i see the thumbnail I know its you. You are the Bob Ross of the mixed media world. Hugs, Diana ❤❤❤ P.S. I can't find the links to those Etsy shops.
I have several colours of metallic thread, proper sewing machine thread, not embroidery or anything, and I don't know if I'm using it wrong, but it doesn't work at all. I think maybe it's too slippy and the machine can't get the tension right? I've ruined more than one project trying to use metallic thread 😒
I use metallic thread in my machine without issue. I think you would be safe to try it. Also may I recommend trying a little honey with your coffee and cinnamon? It is a decadent mix!
I love coffee with cream and chocolate sounds delicious!☕☕☕

Yes to black coffee. No sugar, no cream, that’s me too. Brand of coffee must be very good when you drink black coffee as you get the whole flavor. Yum

I agree, the cheaper quality threads are not your machine’s friend at all.
Thank you, I was wondering the same thing.
💖🥰😍❤️
