They beat the 8-8 Tim Tebows to get there. And the Tebows beat the Steelers. It's wackiness; every season you try to gauge any team's worth by who they beat and you always run into circular madness.

As a packers fan I’m not sure New Orleans beats NYG again under that scenario. You should remember in 2007 when we beat the Giants in the regular season 35-13 in NY and then they came and beat us in the NFC Title game at home. They may have gotten crushed here but they were playing significantly better come playoff time and their defense was on another level. They were built similar to how Minnesota was a few years ago when they gave New Orleans fits in both of those playoff games. I agree on the seeding though, it should be all division winners and then the 3 wild cards but from their the seeds are all determined by records. Giant LB's in this game were very bad. Boley was out and Blackburn was not brought in for another week. Had the Saints beaten the 49ers they would have been facing a very different Giant D that really had momentum by the playoffs (crushed the Falcons 24-2 in the first round and beat the 15-1 Packers).
