Yea, it’s a really cool game,you should give it a try! It’s a bit janky sometimes, but you gotta finish it at least once. It’s definitely worth it to give it a shot! The 2nd game is even better imo, so that’s why I’m about to move on to the 2nd hotline now!
@@clouder1337debatable to say 2 is better than 1, but 2 gets way more hate than it deserves. most issues come from little tangible differentiation in character abilities and some jankiness with weapon pickups, the combo timer, and executions. other than that, the levels and story themes are great. nice run btw, always great seeing new runs of these games.

Yea, I agree with what you just said and I've experinced it myself since I eventually did some runs of HM2, but to be fair in that comment I was just tackling the casual side of this game, meaning the plot and perhaps the level design, but yea some mechanics are straight up feel broken sometimes, especially when it comes to weapon pickups near walls and stuff. But the plot of the 2nd game is just impeccable!

Oh, I actually play with the music, and you can even see my itunes widged on the left of the screen, where it says "Now playing". But you cannot hear the music, cause I have a different audio recording method for videos and my twitch vods, I basically made it so it doesnt capture the itunes audio, so that I dont get any copyright issues. And yea, answering to your question, music actually does help me playing, lets me enter this "gaming flow" state of mind or something, keeps me focused, I guess.

I cannot tell you the exact number, but if I would have to guess, then I would say, that I have around a 100 finished runs, perhaps a bit more.
