I too want to thank you so much for saving my sanity these crazy weeks. I am 74, live alone and have been 'locked down' since mid March. I so appreciate your sense of humor, and your beautiful smile. Please know that I am not in a strait jacket because every day I came here to listen to the latest chapter. I hope someday, before my end comes, that I can travel to the UK and see you perform live. That would just make my whole life worth while! Thank you so much! 💋🇨🇦
Sarah I just wanted to say, thank you.i have dialysis every other day for five hours. Your u-tube broadcast comes through at nine,in Wisconsin , and gets me through the last two hours .thank you you give me a smile and a laugh when I really need it! Thanks so much !!
Every spring we plant a small veggie garden. With green beans, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, a watermelon... lol 😜. Usually, only one grows. I use to have perennial flowers in my front yard, but my Jerry hates "flower" gardens, so he manages to mow them over! Soooo, I keep my flower growing to pots on the front porch, and deck. 💖U🐥. 🤭😘💋
SARAH........YOU ARE SUCH A DELIGHTFUL INDIVIDUAL.........I CAN LISTEN TO YOUR STORIES ABOUT YOUR LIFE ALL THE TIME..........LOVE..........YOU ARE CHAMPION, PET......!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't expect I'd learn how to save a bee's life from a UA-cam video at 1AM. Thank you for reminding people to be kind while also making jokes. You are a relentless source of entertainment and warm and fuzzy feelings, Sarah.
Love your horn noises. It makes me smile every time. If we ever get out of quarantine, please visit America. I would love to see you in concert in person.
Thank you. You are indeed Champion! I look forward every day to your next episode. My granny's daffodils were a sure sign that spring was here at last. And there were also my mom's white and pink dogwood trees and our beautiful redbud trees, at least until the first hard spring rain took off all the fucking flowers. Having said that, they are magical to me even to this day when I am in my early 60's. Love to you from Chicago, Illinois USA.
Hi thank you so much for being you. You have helped me get through this pandemic with your smiles, stories, silliness and just being you. I am so lucky to have found you on UA-cam. All my love to you and your family. I practice trying to make the horn noise and I cannot do it. I'll keep trying. Lol lol lol its so much fun trying. I had homemade chicken soup today with homemade biscuits. YUMM.
Hello again from USA. I am a gardener too. Mostly flowers, but some food. A favorite tomato is called Champion. Makes me think of you. Not just because of the obvious name. Like you, it is voluptuous, sweet & positively fabulous!
Thanks for the laugh again. look forward to storytime. would like to buy your book.BUT would really like you to autograph it. what a treasure that would be.
I love this series so much for so many reasons. Not the least of which is that I can scroll through the comments and actually feel even better after watching an episode rather than being sucked into reading mean and nasty comments that seem so rampant on nearly every other channel or FB post. Thank you all!
I watch you everyday and you always put a smile on my dial hehehe. Saw you on The Last Leg and I was so excited in a way that you get excited when one of your friends appears on telly and you say, oh look its Sarah. Sending lots of love and thanks xx
Love the daffodil and crocuses comments. My feelings exactly. And sunflower seeds in a dirds tummy made me laugh too! These readings make my day. Champion!
My favorite part of the day is getting a moment to sit and watch How To Be Champion Storytime Spectacular Tada! *honk noise* Thanks for the smiles and giggles, Sarah! Love from Arkansas, USA! ❤️💓❤️💓😷
G’day from Sydney, Australia. Am loving your videos, thank you for making them. It’s become ritual first thing every morning to sit down with a cup of tea and my mate Sarah. Lots of love oxox
Hi Sarah. Love your comedy and your book. I look forward to your reading every day. I want to know how you discovered that you can make the horn sound.
My son made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, delicious, but what a palava. Lindt's chocolate cut up, had to make out own peanut butter chips, 2 days in the making but great in the end.
"There was an antler stuck to it. Is it antler? Yes." OMG! You stopped to think, thought a bit and then was sure you were right. I laughed so hard. Thanks, I needed that.
Love the bee and wasp stories! I am ok with bees in the garden but the wasps, arg!! Keep up the good work, Sarah. We all like to have a chat with you during the day.
I can hear the daffs and snowdrops having that chat and then flicking the 'v's'.... You make me laugh every day.... I'm never going to be able to look at a daffodil in the same way ever again!! 🤣😂🤣
Yes still with you! lol. The wildlife and birds are lovely in the garden aren't they? Always lifts my mood to wander round the garden even in these crazy strange times xx
Hi Sarah, another brilliant read, when it comes to gardening, the only time I'd have green thumbs is if they were gangrene, my ideal garden would be paved with a few pots here and there, no plants, just pots. My hubby however, thanks to this bloody coved thing has turned into David Attenborough, saying, I'm going to mow "my"lawns. He's planted flowers on the front, and bought a bloody shed. This virus has alot to answer for........ You and Gary stay safe xxxx
Oops, I forgot to say I am from Connecticut USA, about one and 1/2 hour from New York City, USA. LOVE YOU. I am also sad about story time coming to an end at some point.
Hullo lovely Sarah! Thank you for the honking (TWO days in a row, yay!) and the fun as always. I love my crocuses for the same reason you do yours! Today after your welcome honk I giggled in delight at the same exact moment you did, and it felt so good! Would love to have had you right here with me sharing some tea and homemade scones and laughing like that...all the way across the world in Argentina
I have a black speckled red breasted bullfinch family that winters over here, they move on in the spring but then the yellow tanagers show up, I thought there was an errant canary eyeing up a bath in the waterfall, the sound of splashing water brings in all kinds of birds and wildlife, raccoons, squirrels, foxes, rabbits, neighbor cats......
btw I live in Englewood, an inner ring suburb of Denver, Very Urban but still has a menagerie of fauna, I"m originally from New Mexico, ants and the occasional lizard were our city animals.
Hi girl, glad to see you still going with it! I did it without lockdown. Two kids, looser father. You are a total 🌟 to keep it going right now. I don’t think I could do what you are doing!!! ✌️✌️✌️🌟🌟🌟
Sarah a little tip for you..for the wasps just get Or make a fake(Paper)wasp nest..it looks like a brown Chinese garden lamp cover..the wasps will never come around(never invade other wasp's territory) thinking... there already is one there..try it and see.. it really works
Still with you, pet. Love your stories and look forward to them, even though it’s 4 a.m. Hawaiian time! I will be sad when you run out of pages. Be good and aloha!
Oh what a great storytime today! BTW has anyone tried the suspended stuffed brown paper bag thing? It's supposed to keep the wasps and hornets away because it looks like a nest?
Aah your wasp catcher escapades reminded me of a particularly waspy summer when i was little , loads getting in the house ! So out came jammy sugar liquid in a jar with a small wasp hole and a couple placed out in our backyard. It worked a treat until i decided to play ball an knock em over smashing the jars! Wasps and jam everywhere. Think i had a bit of a telling off that day :) !!
Hahahaha I love how you inadvertently created a pub!!! 🍻 Perfect in my opinion. And why not? Let them have a full belly and they can go home and show off to the rest of their nest.
Have got chips in the oven and am going to open a tin of sardines in tomato sauce which is my version of fish and chips. I am wheat intolerant. Had chocolate yesterday so being good today. Thanks for making me smile - no mean task! XXXX
birds are like that migration DOES happen like a bus showed up and they all left. I always noticed this with Barn Swallows. Sames happens in the Spring. The winter flocks will eventually form up and they come for the season.
I didn't discover you were doing this till day 53 so have had a great time catching up. But now I am getting very worried as 5 minutes of you a day is just not enough! I am trying to pace myself but struggling! When the book is finished can you just chat about your day and what you eat eating please 😂 we all need you!!!!

I’m a big fan of bedding plants. I put them in every year. We buy them from Morrison’s store. I also like to make my own hanging baskets and pots

Theres an easy way to tell a dead bee from a live one. If there's no buzz it's probably dead. 🤣
🤣 now I cant get the image of a bee with antlers out of my head
Thank you Sarah! You're the best!
I'm listening this while editing my dissertation. Can't put into words how thankful I am that you're still doing them ❤️ lots of love!
Antlers on a bee!! What a hoot Sarah. Antenna? Or maybe it was a deer bee?
Oh what a great storytime today! BTW has anyone tried the suspended stuffed brown paper bag thing? It's supposed to keep the wasps and hornets away because it looks like a nest?
