Pile Number #4 here. The Sea Serpent really did it for me. The world isn't really against me, this entire time it has been Me vs. The "normal" expectations of society that *I* planted in my head. I've been attacking myself for being "too much", my mental health has never been this weak and it's my own doing. The eye symbolism in the Sea Serpent also made sense to me because I can get really stuck in how I see the world and how I see myself, I get intensely stuck in negative views that I have of myself. I often struggle with my partner because I bring myself down a lot and it frustrates him how I can be so stubborn and dedicated about it as if I've established it as a life mission; to keep myself locked and unfulfilled. Pile one. My grandmother lost her fight to COVID this Friday and I’ve definitely felt lots of pain and loss. Rest has been a big theme for the past couple of days, I’ve taken time off work to spend the time with family to heal and I’ve been wondering whether or not I should publicly talk about her on social media. Define crazy : Doing what I want is dumb, because doing what I want doesn't make me safe and stable.
