Absolutely! ESP knows what’s up. They understand their market/demographic. They make metal guitars for metal players, demoed by metal players. I really wish more amp makers understood this. I bought a Peavey 6505 last year, and anything that was demoed on any “official” Peavey media was guys showing us all these different voices, and playing “hard rock.” Don’t they know people are buying a 6505 for METAL? Thankfully we got guys like Ola Englund who give us REAL demonstrations of METAL!
I have ordered an E-II M-II which will be delivered hopefully in the next couple of weeks but this guitar looks like a masterpiece and something to consider for the future. And I'm loving the Fishmans. ESP have really done it with the LTD's this time and they punch beyond their weight. The high end LTDs seem to be epic high performance axes that are on par with the E-II's.
I guess this will be my sixth ESP/LTD purchase in the last 20 years or so. I have already owned three ESP Standard models and this will be my third LTD 1000 series model. This model is almost perfectly set up for my playing preference. Although I am typically an EMG person I look forward to trying the Fishman modern set.
If the burl top looked this good all the time I would buy one but it almost never does. Too bad cuz I really like this model. If they re-released it with a more consistent top and with no inlays I would be stoked!
@@Chris-qv2vr Thanks for replying. I'm trying to gather enough good reasons to purchase it. Considering that it's a new model and there are just a bunch of reviews.
Bought this guitar and decided to swap out the Fishman pickups for a set of EMG 60 pickups and what a big difference the EMG's made. The 60 in the bridge position sounds really fat and chunky, but still has plenty of output and clarity without sounding too harsh. Think that's my new favorite bridge pickup for guitars with Alder bodies (EMG 81 for Mahogany bodies).
Depending on what gauge of strings you like, I think this guitar will hold up just fine. I recently strung mine up with 12-54 for C# standard, but found the string tension to be too loose for my personal taste, so I just tuned the guitar up to D standard, lol. If you're into heavy strings like myself, I'd recommend Ernie Ball Not Even Slinky 12-60 strings. I remember those held up pretty nicely when tuned to C# standard on one of my past guitars.
For Drop B, I recommend that you use daddario 11 56 and change the 56 for a 58 or 59, so you will have the right tension, and you will not have problems with tuning. Clearly you should check the height of the grooves of the nut, where it is equal to the frets, as well as that the strings follow the curvature of the fingerboard. If it's plastic, better replace that with a graphtech black tusq XL, it's super cheap and the improvement in tone and stability will be enormous.
@@riffheart Yeah, I honestly don't understand the logic behind the Evertune bridge *unless* the guitar is going around the world through different climates and whatnot. It's basically like having a Floyd Rose without the bar. All that extra weight added to the guitar, plus extra money, and a huge chunk of wood routed out of the backside of the guitar. To each their own, of course.
Get rid of the dot inlays and go for something better. Offcut toe nail inlays? Eyebrows? Deflated eyeballs? Buckets full to empty? Whole cake to eaten cake. full cone to smoked cone.
I ordered this guitar approx 5 months ago and was told week after week its been delayed due to covid. It finally just came in to the music store. Since I live 3.5 hours away, I asked them to send pictures to me. I was shocked to find the finish looks NOTHING like how the guitar is marketed in this video! I fully understand each and every top finish is a different piece of burled poplar / alder but the one the store received has almost ZERO burls or depth to it. Its extremely dissapointing. Im unsure why they would have even used the piece of wood they did for the top finish when it has almost nothing in comparison to how they market the guitar. Super dissapointing after waiting nearly 5 months. I may not even take the guitar anymore. Ughh
Did you accept the guitar? If not, are you in the US? If so, I'd recommend buying a guitar from Sweetwater. If they have multiple models of the same guitar, which is pretty common, you can actually view each model by its serial number and choose which one looks the best to you.
@@franciscoalves3221 I ended up not taking the guitar. Didn't wanna spend all that $ on it and be unhappy. I ended up finding one for sale in a shop in Paris France and they shipped it to me with a much nicer finish!
I appreciate ESP getting a great player to demo their gear!
He is the lead guitarist for the band SINGULARITY, fucking awesome metal.

Purchased a year ago and it’s my go to for Praise and Worship at church. Suits every style! Perfect!
I'm also glad they didn't put the model name on the 12th fret.
Yaseen Akbar you prefer this one or M black metal series?
@@BagusWibisono This one since the black metal series doesn't have a neck pickup.

Yaseen Akbar and if this one can order, how much money to buy it?

the guy is so nice, plays amazing, explains all the features very well
I like how humble and down to earth he is. Just passionately sharing his love for ESP guitars and metal without any ego whatsoever.
Im here for Jack, love his video game music, insane player.
I bought this beautiful guitar yesterday. It has awesome sound and is really easy to play!
The best LTD I've ever played. I love it.
Love jacks playing style
Possibly the most effortless looking picking hand I’ve ever seen. This man has incredible form. Makes everything look easy….. Bastard. Lol
For real! Im so jealous. This dude looks like he's barely trying

Why aren't there many reviews of this guitar?

Amazing demo!
Those shitty guitars Walmart used to sell. Jack could make those sound good. This guy is a phenomenal guitar player and songwriter.

That finish is sick as fuck.
Is the action nice and low stock, or would I have to make adjustments?
That would cool in all black, white or neon green - I don't like multicolor finishes.
hey please made this guitar with clean enlay!

when will the 2021 models come out?

Is this really Buckethead?..
nice!!! Does it feature stainless steel frets? (I only buy guitar with them)
I'm gonna guess probably not.
All I can look at is his hand moving..😅
Damn y'all should really feed bruh though
This would've been perfect if it had an Evertune bridge:(
The Hipshot hard tail bridge and locking tuners will keep the guitar in fine tune under aggressive playing as well
