The lab having only one entrance/exit that's an elevator no less seems like a bad idea in general no invisible murder required
it sounds like a fire hazard to me
@@Blossommoon64 it is LMAFOO most labs must have more then one exit to leave
@@melyssa9456 T . T yeah exactly mine has multiple exists
@@melyssa9456 It's a top secret military black ops bunker lab, they don't have to follow OSHA codes. If two different elaborate elevators couldn't be arranged in time and on budget and would have delayed invisible supersoldiers, they would sacrifice that.
YES! Like, what if there's a fire? Or a the power goes out and the elevator doesn't work?
Another method that’s used in the original invisible man is that they would sweep the entire room with a net before anything
Or sprinkling every room with shards of glass
@@mangle9143 I was thinking the same thing.
Blow flour across the floor/room...
Everywhere you go, hold knives in either hand and spin.
One word: legos
I think the serum itself was what drove him insane. He was literally seizing up when he was injected and obviously suffered from sensory overload of some sort. Then slowly became more and more erratic and psychotic until he snapped. Straight up shrugging off hot steam, electricity, blunt trauma like he was on constant panic mode or smth.
It's established earlier in the movie that the gorillas and dogs eventually became aggressive because of the mental stress of being invisible.
Sebastian definitely wasn't a really good person, but he didn't became a maniac until he suffered the longest period of time being invisible than all other experiments.
But he wants to murder before the serum; and he turned down the government funding which is why he wants to murder
I beat Hollow Man by not being REMOTELY smart enough to be on a science team that develops literal invisibility serums. I probably hear about the story from a conspiracy theorist co-worker, go "yeah, ok, greg", and then get back to work.
So you work with "Void Cowboy", I had no idea.

One of the dumbest things they keep doing is splitting up. One on one baconboy has the adventage, but as long as several people are within a short distance of eachother he‘ll have a hard time to attack one of them without the other researchers dogpiling him. Not to mention that everyone keeps taking of their heat vision goggles. One or better two of them should keep them on at all times to cover every angle of approach so that he can‘t surprise attack them in the first place.
If I could be invisible, I'd use it to just watch as many movies I could for free at the theater, the problem would be getting the popcorn
😎
Just steal some popcorn
I would rob so many places....
You just need to ask some people to buy a popcorn for you after giving some money.
This is one of the better films of this genre at this time. Definitely underrated and only recently getting more positive attention. Kevin Bacon is one of those actors that I'll give a chance to anything he's in.
I love Hollow Man. It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and themes. The story, performance's, music, and special effects was outstanding and incredible. Kevin Bacon did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Sebastian Caine as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. 😍😎💯👍 A brilliant yet arrogant scientist that has hunger for power and once he has that power it really takes a dark and sinister turn as he is tempted to use it for evil intentions. 😰😱 To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍
dude, this movie actually, genuinely traumatized me as a child. it came on on tv once when i was like seven or eight and i watched the whole thing. anyways for the next three years i genuinely thought that i was going to be killed by an invisible man who was hiding in my shower
Flood the facility? Maybe throw something hard to scrub off on him like Cee did in The Invisible Man. You would see him with the paint, dye, whatever on him and/or you would see him at the shower, sink, whatever trying to wash it off. They're in a lab looking at slides there are probably bottles of iodine, methylene blue or another stain around.
Wow the sequel to Footloose is wild. Ig Kevin Bacon wasn’t content with just dancing anymore.
The hollow is not only invisible but impervious to anything that would normally kill a human 😂
Its because of adrenaline and stuff

Cinema summary: and that was the biggest mistake of his life
Congrats on 2m and have a damn good day
Thank you!!!
Reminds me in some ways of a movie called The Projected Man. A trio of researchers tries to invent a teleporter, but when their funding is cut, the lead scientist tests it on himself and transforms into a monster. The female of the trio was his ex, and she hooks up with the other man in the group. Very 60s, very British, and not very good, which is why it ended up on MST3K.
It sounds like The Fly to me. Is that just a coincidence?
just make paint traps. make a tripwire connected to pain buckets on hinges so it can hang after the wire is tripped and do it 4 times so when he gets near it traps him making him visible.
This is a blast from the past, this movie gave me so many nightmares when I was I kid lol
Congrats on 2 Million, you deserve these subs for being such a amazing youtuber keep up the work and make sure to take breaks and have a damn good day
The slide move that Elisabeth Shue makes while firing the flamethrower
(not shown here) is badass enough to make even Ripley jealous.
Congrats on 2M subs.
I joined when this channel only had 200k and now its at 2M. Congratulations man. Keep up the good work.
Thinking about the part where he said it's too bright, wouldn't you technically be blind if all and every part of your body was transparent? Light passes through you, it doesn't hit the back of your eye but instead keeps going, not giving the receptors the chance to process anything. Where my eye doctors/scientists at?
If I were in that situation and I remembered that he can’t stand bright lights while he’s invisible, I would have made at least one section of the lab as bright as possible, and then I would have tried to lure Sebastian into the room. By that logic, he would be so busy trying to shield his eyes that it would give me the perfect opportunity to take him down.
I never understood why he was so strong, did invisibility make him a terminator?
Fr
It's been a while since I watched this movie myself. Did he show any super human strength? He definitely had a crazy amount of pain tolerance.
@@zachplummer625 i think it a side effect of the serum. Seeing as it made his body go into hyper mode(heart rate skyrocketing)
Remember compound V?
Yeah didnt he hide up in amongst some ceiling pipes and attack one of the other guys (i don't remember his name so ill call him Parkman) by pulling him up by his head/neck. Now parkman is a big guy so would take quite z bit of strength.

Would a invisibility serum really give you a nobel prize tho? Like, even tho its a amazing discovery I dont see many uses other than war
When they left the door the first thing that came into my head was everyone on this research team should be fired
You are mostly right about Invisibility being basically a 'nefarious' power.
But the Science needed to accomplish "total light refraction" on a biological lifeform, would be extremely useful in a number of other fields; such as medical treatments.
@@sheridanroad2001 this is what happens when you play God
I’d be a side character who HAS to be alive near the end because in all of these horror movies, there are always side characters that just miraculously survive with no injuries.
Congrats on 2 million subs dude🎉
In my opinion Sebastian is a complex character. It makes the audience feel sorry for him and want him to win such as getting a chance of happiness in life as he was dealing with heartbreak of the end of his relationship with Linda as she left him for Matt due to his personality as he wasn't their for her, was quarantined in the laboratory due to his condition of being completely invisible due to the invisibility serum as he wanted to do human testing as he was constantly put under needle's, experiments, and radiation tests to bring him fully back to normal but to no avail as the more he stays in isolation the slowly he descends into madness, doesn't get no recognition and credibility at all, and they're we're going to give him up to the committee but at the same time Sebastian had a horrible personality such as being cocky, arrogant, and narcissistic as he was always joking he was god towards his teammates, sexually assaulted a team member, rape his next-door neighbor, kill a dog, and kill innocent people. If Sebastian had a different personality his life would have been better and bright as Linda will still be with him, his teammates will appreciate him, and he will get tons of recognition and credibility.
It's established earlier in the movie that the gorillas also became aggressive after a certain time being invisible. Sebastian wasn't a good man but he wasn't a bad man either, it was the stress of his condition that eventually got to his head and made him go maniac.
Imagine the maneating Lion from "BEAST"? This idea would kill the whole cast of that movie
this aged well
27:33 Sebastian already knows Linda is suffocating yet he still steps on her throat more, 27:36 that's what he gets! Good job Matt 😂
Facts. Wacthing Matt knocking out Sebastian was so satisfying as it put a smirk on my face. 😏😈

CONGRATS ON 2 MIL KEEP UP THE WORK❤❤
The fact that “grab him by the balls” is an actual valid strategy is amazing
this man is fr like:after they breathed, they will realise it will be the worst mistake of their lifes
Did i missed something or the guy not only has invisibility he also has, super strength and super durability?
Victim: *is born*
How to Beat: And that was his *biggest* mistake.
I remember an X-Files episode on a genie, and a man that wished for invisibility. He got his wish, and when he walked outside, he got hit by an 18 wheeler and died. Being invisible is not really a good thing to be when you're outside.
Honestly, just one simple rule of every horror movie to never go alone would be enough to beat that guy. He can't carry anything without being spotted, the only ranged weapon they have in the facility seems to be single-shot tranquilizers and there is only one escape route. His only win condition in that fight is that they split up. Staying in groups of at least 3 people ALWAYS looking at each others backs makes them insta-win every scenario. With that rule in mind, they can do whatever they want, gather and guard any resources they need, guard the elevator and use any strategy to win, including just waiting until he dehydrates since he can't take any supplies without being spotted or falls asleep and snores loudly. The scientists acted like stupid teenagers from Z class horror movie.
Actually, in terms of how permissions work on computers, the strategy of revoking his access
by deleting (or lowering status) of his credentials - would not be possible without his consent.
Later in the movie, we see the team discovering that their access to the facility systems has
been denied, and the important point is that they could not restore it. This means that Sebastian
had higher administrative clearance from the get go (duh, he's the boss of the whole shabang),
and the only way for him to deny his own access - is by doing it himself. And he might have
very well told them no-way-jose and flipped them off on this one. So while it's a potentially good
idea, it has a high chance of not being viable.
Also, locking him inside the complex would not be enough. They would need to literally create
a makeshift containment cell and keep him there not unlike a prisoner. Taking into consideration
that he is getting progressively crazier with each day, he could've attempted something dangerous
even under such conditions. The only way to be absolutely sure, is to do all this only as the first
step, then - ask for help from Pentagon since they hired them in the first place. The dudes over
there would know more about multi-layer containment scenarios, thus excluding a lot of potential
lethal mistakes deriving from ad-hoc how-to-stop-a-mad-scientist improvisations.
Bro every single video you make is perfect 👍
Why did you change your name?

When he recommends to fist fight the serial killer, I thought The Boys where Butcher was fighting a superhero called Translucent. Butcher spat blood at Translucent to see.
honestly , once they had him in a room ; set up 3 flood-lights outside his room with a mirror on the floor/ceiling/walls = theres no way to leave the room without getting blinded.
I woke up from my nap a few minutes ago.
"And that was his biggest mistake..."
Guy: *breathes*
How to Beat: But that will be the biggest mistake of their lives.
I read the title as "Melon Man" and was so confused on why someone would name a horror/suspense movie that
Google would have saved everyone because the Nobel Prize is awarded to people who discover things that benefit mankind the most.
Being invisible literally is only bad. I can't think of one way to use it to help anyone.
Also, if he had headaches from not having eyelids, his eyes would be getting light from almost 360 degrees (your pupils only allow a beam of light into your eye), so he would be "seeing" everything from all directions and I'm not sure your brain could actually process that and allow you to move without being completely disoriented.
So many problems with this movie.
Talks about gruesome death, now let's talk about hello fresh!
Congratulations on 2 million subscribers.
Have a damn good day and congratulations on 2M.
If I have invisibility, I would scare the bullies.
just as a fun fact: if you are invisible, you can't see either because light would go through any receptor the body uses to "see". that means you wouldn't be bothered by a light too bright. besides that, the light wouldn't be brighter than when you have your eyes open (like the rest of the people on the room)
ways to avoid him being able to leave? use any sort of bracelet/anklet/collar/cuff that he can't remove. this makes him visible and we don't need to remove him from the security system or inject any sort of GPS tracer. if he complains about it. tell him it's for his safety in case he passes out or something similar. they wouldn't be able to find, and help, him. I would also make sure the key to open it isn't on the facility. take it outside while he's sleeping.
while I'm sure he would be able to find a way to break the bracelet/anklet/collar/cuff to remove it, that would reveal his intentions as there was no need for him to break/remove it. this knowledge would prevent him from attempting since he doesn't want them to know that he left.
as to what I would do as that invisible psychopath, ruin the food supplies and blocking the exit and comunications while I leave. trapped with no food they would die in a few days. nobody else knew that I'm invisible so I will be able to do whatever I want.
the only problem would be that they would be able to leave a message to be found by whoever enters at a later date. that would make it known that I'm invisible and when I left but, by that time, it would be impossible to find me.
OK but ngl, why doe he always throw the sponsorship at the perfect time, it's literally shocking
