Hey Noah, love your vids man. I hear you getting bummed out about missing the "flip clip". You should try a gopro with the chest harness. Will allow hands free herping my dude. Good luck. Be safe. And thanks for the content. As a Louisiana resident I really loved your Louisiana videos as well.
I just bought my first speckled kingsnake yesterday (05-13-2020), and am extremely happy to see this video posted next day!!! That’s awesome seeing the variety of patterns in each snake!
Thanks for all your inspiration! I live in coastal GA and have a nice piece off woods that my house backs up to. Next time I'm at home depot Im going to start buying tin to start laying out. Ive already seem rat, racers, hognose, canebreak, and cotton mouths in my yard and neighbors yard.
Snakes are only scary if you don’t understand them. They’re just another animal that wants to eat, sleep, breed, and be left alone. They don’t have legs because they evolved that way. There’s nothing scary about most of them.
I’ve had adult breeding snakes have prolapsed hemipenes but never saw one in the wild. It can take hours for the blood flow to subside and they go back in
Those red milksnakes are tiny compared to our eastern milksnakes in Maryland. Is it normal for them to be that small or does it depend on locality? Also, that black widow was stunning too.
The story is that they are very common around farms in their range where they prey on mice. Dairy farms barns being a good place for mice. To continue with the old wives' tale....it was thought by the misinformed farmers that they sucked milk from dairy cows.
Flip flip oo skink oo little scorpion ... you should come to Florida in tallahassee some where look for scorpions i havent seen one yet been here my whole life born and raised .. 0 scorpions
Love the videos. If you ever come through Jefferson County MO you should check out my property. Black rat, racers, rattle snakes, hog nose, ring necks, copper heads, garter, snapping turtles, box turtles, various lizards, salamanders, frogs and toads but in 20 + years I have not found a king or milk snake here.
Good stuff man, I really wish I would find such cool snakes. They are here in Virginia, but everywhere is private and I have nothing to flip. Enjoy your videos bro, maybe one day we can do a Collaboration.(yeah I know that’s a long shot)
QUESTION FOR SOMEONE WHO KNOWS: my local animal control/shelter has a 4 year old corn snake in a pretty large enclosure and on display. Today, one of the animal control officers had to remove a 3 foot grey rat snake from a house, and she's beautiful. The corn is male and the rat is female. They're wanting to know if theyll breed? I know they're both elaphe, but will they breed? I'm pretty sure they will, but I want to tell them an answer for sure. Thanks
@Claire B. From what I remember from my studies in Microbiology, most species will not cross breed with other species....even of the same Genus. I am no expert. Sounds like you are in FL, AL or GA?
2:55 BRO IS THAT A BLACK WIDOW
Ooh good eye, kinda looks like a widow to me too. Might be a false black widow.
I hope it's just a false one, yikes!
The red mark would be on its belly which we can't see, so it's hard to tell
Wtf yeah is
Sure is

I’m scared of snakes but yet I watch this
Hey that is awesome of you. Nothing wrong with some fear if it doesn't impair you or make you kill every snake you see

"I can't stop finding kingsnakes." That's got to be the worst problem ever
Out herping in Oklahoma, stuck between tornadoes and stormchasers. Good chance one of those stormchasers was also looking for snakes too 😂😂😂
Those red milksnakes are tiny compared to our eastern milksnakes in Maryland. Is it normal for them to be that small or does it depend on locality? Also, that black widow was stunning too.
I love snakes, but black widow @2:57 makes my skin crawl....
What part of Georgia do you live in? I live in Georgia too I also love snakes!!💕
At 2:58 you also flipped a black widow spider hanging on the bottom of the rock.
What video editor do you use? Keep the vids coming...I really enjoy watching them!
Do you know why they call them milk snakes?
The story is that they are very common around farms in their range where they prey on mice.
Dairy farms barns being a good place for mice.
To continue with the old wives' tale....it was thought by the misinformed farmers that they sucked milk from dairy cows.
@@falconmoose1589 thanks

Lmao that’s exactly what I’m thinking😂
Awesome find double milksnakes
My first thought on seeing the hemipenes was, "they look like the polyp form of cnidaria/coelentrata ~ sea anemone" 😂
Thats so cool man. Can i have one of them. Grrrr if i could grab one,
MIDWEST GANG LETS GOOOOOOOO
Went herping today, and only flipped a garter. Pretty decent for my town in MA, and time of year matters too. My record is 11 snakes in one day
The nice part was that it was under a board that I placed out. Second time I've ever flipped a snake, and first time under one of my pieces!
I'm another northeast herper most of the time I go out and see like 20 redbacks and see no other herps.
very nice video!
We found a Great Plains Rat snake today
Yeet danger noodle
You should make a shirt that says absolutely stunning with a picture of a milk snake on it !! I would buy one from you
That is some epic Oklahoma herping.
¡ Those Red Milks are _super high energy_ !
What county

I saw a massive kingsnake in Oklahoma today, probably about 7 feet
You can kill or injure when you flips rocks. Lift and displace very slowly.
