Hey Alex. So awesome that you made it to TRE and great job with all the timely content! I hope these help your channel grow bigger. I have been interested in the Maxroad 5 but never pulled the trigger on it. Will excitedly await reviews for the MR6.
I'm glad to see they got rid of the pods. I don't think that was a good design for durability. I'd like to try them on but I did find the arch fit a bit like a lump in the middle of the foot on the Maxroad 5 and the Ride 10. Let's see how they execute it on this model. The design looks great though. It has the potential to compete with the Bondi/More, if done right.
The Max Road 5 was my go-to for my LRs during 3 marathon blocks in 2022. Excited for this shoe except for the weight. GRR 11 might be the better move @ $120.
MaxRoad has been my favorite series for a few years. The 5 lost a bit of flexibility but is still a great long/recovery trainer. This version seems to have great updates, especially the outsole (I only get 250 miles out of the previous version outsoles before I'm grinding away Hyperburst at a rapid rate). The addition of a supercritical INSOLE is excellent! Industry-leading again! But I'm a little skeptical of that upper, it looks over-built and hot. Like a Bondi or other running shoe worn by non-running workers who are on their feet all day. I mentioned somewhere else that it would be great if they made a "MaxRoad Pro" with a performance upper to reduce the weight back under 9oz. This is an excellent shoe for mid-pack to back of the pack marathoners, heck even 2:30-3:00 marathoners. At $100 more, the new Skechers "supershoe" isn't much lighter, and too stiff to wear for much more than a couple hours. 4-hour efforts would be better served with the MaxRoad, or dare I say, a "MaxRoad Pro".
This is looking like a great shoe and good value at $140. Looking forward to the reviews. If they can produce enough on time, 2023 could be a Skechers' leapfrog year!
@@bobsibert1968 There are people that are getting 500 miles on MaxRoad 5. Some of the more recent models are built better. I definitely had some shoes from other (reputable) brands that lasted less than expected so your mileage will vary but unless you are running more than 300 miles a month this shoe is likely to last more than a month for you.
@@AlexFilitti i think i got what you mean, but the 'first layer of wear' is soooooooooo responsive, it geniunely makes me feel happy just to jog with, after the wear the foam is much much stiffer;(
I don't get it. This same rep for Skechers, in a Road Trail Run video from the same Running Event show , said the stack height of the Max Road 6 was 38 in the heel and 32 in the forefoot. What's the correct story. You'd think he would know.
Hello sir wearing this shoes causes me pain in my forefoot and calf area due to walking and running my knee pain ,knee tired Also my foot and leg tired what is the reason behind this?
Many companies just do colourway or upper updates every second year, NOT SKECHERS - they really push forward every single year.. ANOTHER GREAT SHOE - just hard to find and harder to get on special.
Tutta quella schiuma è così attraente. Un po' mi chiudevo lo stack, visto che già le Ride 11 dell'altro video nel tallone mi pare abbia detto 35. Sembra la pizza contemporanea a canotto.
Skechers is pushing the industry forward 💯
They're offering what the consumer wants in a different and unique package and at a competitive price point. Thanks for your comment!
@@AlexFilitti They are junk

Thank you for your very kind comment! We're happy if you're enjoying the content from TRE, it's been some crazy days of filming and editing ;-) Cheers
Like your short Intros, very on point and no nonsens. Appeciated! Greeting from germany
Thanks for the nice comment, Martin. Much appreciated and encouraging
skecher is one of the most underrated shoe with a very reasonable pricing...loved this brand
One of the best value for money brands out there!!
Cant wait to try it!
One to watch! Past versions of these were amazing.

They have a lot of potential indeed!!
Can't wait for the review
It will certainly be one of the most anticipated reviews next year!
Versions 1-3 of these shoes were the best of the lineup so far

I'm with you here. It's going to be a tough battle between the two.
GRR?

Yes!
Do they have them in the slip in that kind

This looks very nice
It does! Which Skechers is the most interesting in your opinion?
@Alex Filitti most likely this one . Love max cush shoes .
Cool shoes
which is better max cushioning ultra go or hyper brust ?

It's actually $150!
If you want to spend that much every month lol, they are junk!

maxroad 5 is a truely fun shoes to run on, it just sad that the outsole and midsole last much shorter than any of my other shoes
I took my first pair of maxroad 5’s 470 miles. Currently have 170mi on my second pair and they’re my go to easy/recovery day shoe
They wear quickly but once the first "layer" of wear is done, then they hold up quite well I would say. Just my personal experience here though

Muy buen canal 💯💯💯
Thanks a lot!!
Great overview! Anything on the ride 11?
It should be out in the next few minutes :)
Hopefully don’t change it. Ride 10 best shoe and most underrated shoe of 2022.
Here in the US we only have one colorway. The black upper and white sole. 😅
prix? y doit avoir un trés bon amortie et un excellent confort
Do u speak English , 5 h i t ..?
Wish they made available in UK
Maybe via some EU retailers next year!
Must have shoe
That's my take too. I loved the Max Road 5 and I'm really looking forward to this one now.

Skechers shous 9 nomber price
ca a l air d une tres bonne chaussure

True! That being said it also took them two years to release the new Max Road. But it's true that the gap year was not used as an upper update year.
This or the SC trainer?
This is super preliminary but SC trainer for me i would say
@@AlexFilitti This still looks like a promising alternative due to the price, the looks are killer too.
durability needs to be 2000 kms!! Weight needs to be under 290 gms! Comfy, stable & breathable but stretch fit uppers.& heel.! Price under $100!
The weight gain is a bit extreme. Maybe Skechers can strip down the upper on a future model to save some weight.
Proper running shoes for Sketchers are not available in Korea.
Only sneakers are coming in.
Same for some EU countries. But it is slowly changing!
290 gr 😱
Actually we checked and it's 278g. Sorry for this
Ugh noooo!! 288g? Please no :( they're stacking almost 2 ounces!! The max road 5 was almost perfect now they're messing it up 😭
sketcher shoes better than Nike an other brand
Invincible Run wanna be?
They will fall in that same "max stack & bouncy" category. The Skechers will probably have a big advantage with its pricepoint.
domage pas de video skechers en français
Terrible shoe, absolutely horrible.
Why do you think so?
I've never had running shoes that wear out so fast, Skechers are JUNK!!
