The numeric journals turned out really great! I completely understand what you mean about needing to do something you know how to do to de-stress. It’s like we just need to have a “win” when there is a “loss” of control, at least that’s what soothes my inner control freak. Thanks as always for sharing deep insights💕 Extra love to Sophie this time. 😻

Your talk was so timely for me !! Thank you for taking the time to share, it's a very meaningful way to connect, albeit through the internets! I love these number journals and I love that you leave plenty of white space. I, too, am unafraid of white space in journaling. i love vintage, but have found I don't have to have everything yellowed or brown. 😊

You are very welcome and I am glad that it helped you and hopefully brought you some comfort. It is important to me that I make videos and content that help to connect us and put it out there that we are not alone in how we go thru life, even tho we are far away from each other. So many times we get caught up and think...is it just me? And the answer is always, no, it's not just you. It's really helpful to see ourselves reflected back within our communities and know that we hold common ground even in the most mundane things. Thank you for your kinds words!! Hugs xo
ps- I love vintage too but I find the yellowing of everything can be a bit repetitive for me too.

WOW, these are awesome journals Lisa! Yes, the more gator mouth the better, LOL! I am the opposite, I am good at math. I struggled in 2nd grade and the Principal of the school wanted to hold me back (I was a year younger than all the other kids because my birthday is in November) Anyway, my Mom got me a tutor. There was an older lady, a retired teacher two houses down and I walked down to her house several days a week all summer long to study math. I ended up majoring in business and accounting in High School. The tutoring put me at the top of my class in math. Funny that. I was really shy as a kid and never talked to anyone other than my Mom and Dad. I studied really hard that summer though. I was surely not going to let them hold me back! LOL. I would love one of these journals! I hope they go to a good home! I am saving my money for a different one of your journals. The other day I checked and it's still there, so hopefully, fingers crossed, it will still be there when I am able to get it! These journals are superb though! All the numbers really sing to my soul, LOL. I am the same way with ledger paper and graph paper. Always have been since I was little. I used to sneak into my Mom and Dad;'s desk and pilfer a piece or two whenever I got a chance! LOL (Shhhhh, don't tell!, LOL) I do remember Woolworth and Woolco! I also remember the blue light special at KMart! Funny that my best friend in school and I would ride the bus downtown on a Saturday to shop at Woolworth and buy makeup, cheap jewelry, pens and stationary. (No! Say it ain't so! LOL) Anyway, we would eat lunch at the Woolworth's lunch counter. I would say we were maybe 13 or 14. This was before we could drive and it was in the mid-70's. Ah, those were the days! Thank you for sharing your story also. My heart goes out to you and I am glad everything worked out. Take care of you! And your foot and blood pressure! You are important too! I know I am guilty of taking care of everyone else first. I needed to learn that if I don't take care of myself, I won't be around to take care of the ones I love! Well, this has been way too long, LOL Love you Lisa! And love your videos! Take care! Love ya, Elizabeth

Ooooooh, what a fantastic story! Thank you, I loved it :) I imagine it was a bit odd for you too bc "back in the day" girls weren't encouraged to be good with math and numbers. What a gal that retired teacher was, tutoring you and mentoring you!! Unsung hero! I am glad it worked out for you AND that it made you feel good because you excelled at it. That's amazing. I had a math teacher in high school make a deal with me....he would pass me with a 50% if I promised never to show up in any of his classes again ;) I absolutely agreed!! LOL!
Those lunch counters were a dream. We didn't fully appreciate them back then but what a joy there were. French fries and gravy with a cold Coke. Maybe a milkshake. Oh yeah, us gals could go to Woolworth and get a few cosmetic treats with out nickles and feel like real grown ups. So much fun :)
The foot is manageable and my BP is slowly coming down... with the help of less sugar and some better sleep. Fingers crossed. Thank YOU for being so sweet and telling me such great stories! Hugs to you xoxoxo
