For the card trick where it’s overturned- there’s a much easier way to do it with a normal set of cards 💀💀
Take a deck of cards with all of the cards face up. Take the last card in the deck and turn it face down.
Hold the deck where the overturned card is on the bottom. Spread the deck out and tell the target to pick Any card and remember it.
After that split the deck and allow them to put the card somewhere in the middle of the deck. Create a small distraction to flip the deck over, once the deck is flipped where the overturned card is facing up; snap, wave your hand or some other fancy move to “magically turn the cards face up. Set the overturned card to the side as if it’s not important to the trick. When you spread the deck out, the card the target picked will be face down. Thus revealing the card your target picked out of the deck.
Easy and fun to do (I used to do it when I was around 10 and I was a dumb child- so you know it’s easy💀)
I have that invisible deck as it is a magicians staple. With a little practice it is super easy to separate the cards, use a slight circling motion. Also it gets easier with use. Also for the full illusion you pass them an ‘invisible’ deck and get them to take a card out of that deck and put it back the other way round. You then put that deck in your pocket and ask them what their card was because obviously it’s an invisible deck and you couldn’t see. They say their card then you snap your fingers and the deck is visible as you take it out of your pocket - ooo it’s just another deck, but wait one card is the other way round - their card! I learned it with only about half an hour of practice. If you can do a magic trick perfectly with zero practice it will hardly ever be a dope as a convincing trick. Lots of magic is in the banter.
