The buildup in "Stop and Smell the Flesh" is so subtle that I never notice that it's playing until it gets that really catchy part. Absolutely love the vibes! Makes the ABL events feel like a casual outing, haha. And then there's "Nobody Cooled it." I always immediately know that some real tomfoolery is about to happen but the song is such a banger that I don't care 😅
I feel like this OST actually has some lofi esque elements. Not that it's similar in style, but it's really great for focusing because it repeats a decent amount, and isn't really distracting. They're still bangers though somehow without being too distracting it's weird.
The soundtrack absolutely COMPLETES this game, it would not be the same without it. Also seeing it all put into such a well presented video is an honour.

I know it's the most dangerous time, but I'll sometimes let night fall just to have this atmosphere, music and hardcore gameplay on screen.
You also would be surprised that I lasted long from 6pm to 6am and the swarm still in *COMPLETELY SOLID??!* TWICE. Sadly can't able to retreat to my car.
I even forgot to bring consumables & lots of guns because I never expected that big horde once the midnight hits. *Nightfall* time forecast annoys me the most everytime I go for the mission.
the only thing i think would've make the game better is if someone died while you are in a section where you're outside the car it would change the track that's playing to something less hopeful

Your probably thinking of the official album release beta tracks, there is the original death road to Canada main theme, which is really low quality, than the 2008 version of how unfortunate and the 2010 version of every step of the way

It's just very rare. It plays on Alvis' second morale critical event (first just turns him into fat Alvis).
