I want to meet someone who loves this music as much as I do
Whee you from

Hi
*Metal friendly Hug*
UA-cam recommended this to me. On Christmas. What a gift on this twinkliest of nights. Thanks UA-cam!
the same here. :D

OdiumNostrum is the best YT channel ever. its killing my wallet.
In Odium's supreme music taste we trust :)
Its bands getting there, not channel's owner getting bands. They also need to pay to get posted.
This is great music. How would one get their music uploaded to this channel? Thanks
@@cosmicdissonance6058 Where did I say I disliked the concept? I never said it, I pointed a fact that it's not about the taste of channel's owner. Your attack on me is truly unthoughtful and weird.
first 5 seconds triggered my fight or flight
What a fucking pussy

@Lifetime ooooo so edgy
Fuckin normies stumbled upon some nice piece o' metal and got confused lol
This, for me, is an instant classic. I adore nearly all elements of it, but I find its atypical sense of tonality and defiance of conventional structure particularly compelling. It's the kind of music that lends itself readily to analysis and requires close attention to be paid on the part of the listener in order for its subtleties to be fully grasped; this is exactly what I look for the most in music.
Yes. It's Heavy. Dark. And Free.
Agreed. Very intricately composed and all elements of the music compliment eachother very well. Boner-iffic.
Why does this sound like a review of a coffee you just drank
yeah it's a good one for lsd
Kevin Burke you shouldn’t need that shit to enjoy this.
This is fucking insane. First time listening, right off the bat immediately makes me think of Nile and Portal
good combo!
this is what Nile would sound like if it wasn't boring
@@ljuhan2 have to insanely disagree with you on the boring part, i find Nile to be a sonic pleasure lol, at least everything pre-sethu
Nile is nuts. Couldn't imagine being bored by them. Especially during their more relevant days.
@@ljuhan2 nile is boring??
fuckk is going on
This needs a vinyl repress! One of the best extreme metal albums I listened to in the last years...
One of the best albums I've heard in a long time.
Indubitably.
At a loss for words when I try to describe this. Grievous is really good too, but Errata is one of the greatest albums ever, hands down.
Great dark ambient vibe. Production fits the music perfectly.
Gymnopedie55 The production of this reminds me of a Leviathan record. Its almost a black metal sound but it does fit so perfectly \m/
UnendingGrimnesS yeah, totally agree!
Ordo at chao-mayhem. And that is a good thing
@@UnendingGrimness because is not black, is blackened doom or maybe some technical death doom
Holy fuck this shit is amazing. My search through hundreds of generic metal bands has finally paid off.
Ugh... words can't explain how much I love this
i can hear so much emotion in this album. great musicianship. 10/10
This is pure gold! Spread it folks!
This triggered a traumatic experience I never experienced. In love.
Relistening to this after too long. End of Dis. Unreal.
Song "Altered", rare and precious artistic brilliance.
I cant stop listening to this album \m/ This is so refreshing to hear
Is it really. Do you people listen anything actually beautiful. I mean the word refreshing is not very accurate for such a genre.
@@mafyatekin I listen to all kinds of music but this is some pretty original stuff which is my favorite part about it. I love to hear a band that doesn't sound like they're trying to play like someone else. I think "refreshing" was a good word to use at the time cause there was a bunch of shit out that all sounded the same and this was completely different. What's your idea of beautiful? Cause I also listen to percussive acoustic, neo soul guitar, old Opeth, etc. I don't limit myself to 1 genre like I used to when I was a teenager. 1 last thing is that its pretty impressive that this is only one dude (Brendan Sloan) who came up with all this and recorded it at his house and it has almost a quarter million views.
Haven't heared something this dark in a long fucking time, this got my fucking heart pumping and chills on my back omfg!
I can already tell this is an album I wish I could listen to for the first time again.
I was literally complaining about the lack of crushing metal on my feed and I see this 🖤🦇🤘🏻
this album is ridiculous. such a great vibe, its like Doom metal buttraped Dark Ambient
So heavy......hard to bear the metal burden.......Very good stuff so raw, a real gem people.
So hard to bear the metal burden? Drop the glib, superficial comments.
@@oldones59 you must be fun at parties
The 7th track just started, Steven Wilson must be happy to be covered there as this band sounds great
Wow I've followed this channel a while, how could I have missed this! Phenomenal
This popped up on UA-cam and I love it. Beast of an album
Ulcerate meets Portal in an underground bar on the edge of a radioactive death-zone in the immediate aftermath of a nuclear holocaust. They share a poisoned drink from a mold-caked chalice and fall into a shared hallucination of the gradual engulfment of the Earth in a wave of flesh-searing radionuclides. Their assimilated subconscious lingers for a moment to conceive this album, before disintegrating into a cloud of malefic visions that haunt the Earth for eternity.
Just what the Dr. ordered. Thank you for all of the stellar uploads. PT cover just came out of nowhere!
This isn't what I was looking for when I searched "Erratas" but i'll take it
I am just now finding this... I'm not even mad. I am in love.
I've listened to this like 5 times now. great stuff
I don't know where to thank the Creator of this channel so I will start here. I'm trying not to go full psycho but I cannot be the only 1 who thinks this channel is the last breath of sanity in my/their life.
Just please carry on exactly as you are, take care of your health, I wish you any happiness in your life. I rely on what you have put together. You have a special ear.
98% of what I play is from You!!!
I'm still digging this so much. What a great release.
just heard the new song on reddit and it brought me back here. so good, thanks for the hard work
For one dude this is top 5 solo works in last decade for me. solid gold.
the other two e.p.'s crush just as much .
Brutal take on Porcupine Tree? Count me in.
I wish, Gavin Harrison would play metal!
man..... this band made my day.
great style, cool artwork, band name and LP name. 10/10
aahhh this si so good, been looking for something like this for a longer time, very very good
Can't... stop...listening...
Much of this channel brings to mind the kind of metal I might expect to hear in an alternate soundtrack to Silent Hill or Eternal Darkness. It's otherworldly and beyond words.
Getting a BLAME!/Tsutomu Nihei vibe from the cover art. Very nice.
"All who enter here are FUCKED." - The Intro.
This album caught me a little off guard. Great stuff. Thanks for sharing so much awesome music with us Nostrum!
So rarely do I sit down and listen to a whole album....and what an amazing album this is !!!
That album cover frightens me very deeply.
Brilliant and so powerfully dark. An amazing masterpiece. I can listen to this album during a whole night, looping again and again.
Can't believe it's just one man doing all the instruments and vocal, it's astonishing
Descend beneath is fucking sick. I love that riff towards the end. But this whole album is fucking twisted, i love it
I love you OdiumNostrum.
Massive and soothing
That's fucking awesome that they covered The Sky Goes Sideways. Porcupine Tree is so underrated, especially that song!
It was an accident - I started goofing around while I was re-recording the song that became "Dragged" and ended up doing the whole song. Porcupine Tree (particularly the period between Up The Downstair and Stupid Dream) are incredibly important to me.
@Brendan Sloan that's honestly pretty cool though. Love your music, became a huge fan the other day!
Wonderful songwriting and then drums - they just sound purely fantastic!
I love how raw and groovy, and remains original sounding. Good shit!
This album is just gigantic and amazing. Love at first listen.
3:13 to 4:44 ( HEAVY ulcerate/ Gorguts vibes) \m/
Since the first listen some years ago I still coming back to this album. what a massive masterpiece! I still hope he will release this someday in a physical format
...
In about 3 weeks the vinyl will be a reality. Pre-orders are up. I can't link here, but you can find it via Impure Sounds. I'll have my own copies soon after.
relax metal at it's finest
Been a year already, and i still seem to be addicted to this album.
Clinging to tress of a forest fire, virmon womb, primitive man..im feeling all the vibes..you guys are rad. I can't wait to see you live
Brilliant darkness. Achieves what so many bands (including my own) strive for but never quite reach. Combines melody with pure doomy sludge. The SW cover is really good. Please keep creating your art.
what band are you in yourself Dave Lanciani?
@@Tsotha My long-running project is Dimaension X, which varies between sludgy droney doom to blackened death metal to ambient to electronic rock. Click my avatar icon to get to my channel.
That Porcupine Tree cover is SUCH a dope addition to this album.
Glad you think so! A precious band to me and woven into my consciousness/nostalgia for simpler times in my teens, particularly the earlier records.
@@BrendanSloan It’s a great album overall, mate. It’s made me consider getting back into music myself!
@@BrendanSloan my first listen. It’s just on after I walked my dog while listening to Portal. I’m an avid (embarrassingly avid PT fan). I’m not even going to look to see which song you cover. Going to drink wine, and wait for it. This rules thus far ❤️🔥
GREAT GREAT BAND
The artwork brought me here. I don't listen to death metal usually, but the dark vibe and the diversity of this album is really really nice.
I think it's more neo Black Metal ( I don't know if that genre exists.... but I think it should ) than Death Metal.
no i think its more like proto-post prog apoclypse grind core neo funk.
lol i was actually ribbing you because i don't like the highly specific labels in metal... but i actually think i kinda nailed it.
> sees "View replies"
> knows first response will be some variation of "it's not death metal"
> confirmed
> silly metalheads :)
Great album indeed.
Thanks for sharing
great album, thanks for the upload
26:36 no words can describe that part
Is epic like portal
I feel that
I liked this from the first time I heard it, but it's really just growing on me. This is a great album.
So much emotion, so much awesome!
Muito bom! esse canal é foda...
Damn so many genres in this even cybergrind which I was expecting at first but just cuz of errata being mentioned but didn’t hear any right away so I thought I was just overthinking it then out of nowhere I was right can’t believe u fit so many genres into one album it’s definitely one of the most unique metal albums I’ve heard
Punctuation, yo.
@@ClandestineMerkaba freal like goddamn lol
That guitar sound ... whoa... blown away
Excellent stuff. This is what UA-cam is for in my opinion. I hear the stuff and head straight to Bandcamp to buy it.
i am in love with this album
This album is fucking awesome.
I listen to it all the time. More please!
this is badass, good work
Just started listening but I can say for sure that the cover art is very nice.
I found this recently, and I love it !
Stumbled upon this black metal gem after seeing a road games cover. Sweet baby jesus good shit.
I imagine of you like these guys, you would probably love Deathspell Omega if you do not already, lol.
That is some sick cover art.
Odium, never, disappoint.
Melodic Portal? Sweet!
Austin Arthur with Ulcerate subtleties. My find of the day.
Exactly what I thought from the first notes! But I can also catch some Blut Aus Nord in the tremolo riffs...
Austin Arthur yes
Dude Edud two great bands

This really makes my imagination go wild man. Like my own personal horror movie
