Both Marina and Lana have more advanced lyrics than Melanie. A lot of Melanie’s lyrics, though sound pleasing, are truthfully quite surface level opinions of topics rather than getting into the bulk of them. Like for example, in Orange Juice, the song boils down to “you have bulimia but I think you’re beautiful” rather than diving into the mindset that drives someone to do that (a song “Empty” by someone who actually struggled with it does this better). And then for example Marina dives into more complex concepts, like social constructs, and how relationships become more about getting the upper hand rather than genuine care. They’re all good in different aspects, but I just don’t think lyrics are one of Melanie’s strong points.

Well see all of them have great different voices. Marina has that kind of strong voice that will quiet an entire room, Lana has a soft yet mature old sole type of voice that people will just listen to, and Melanie has a lady soft yet royal tone to her voice that will seem Loli yet mature to people. So for me, I liked them all!

Marina is the best live because her head voice is strong and heavenly sounding, it doesn't need a boost. Her belt is impressive as well. Marina's larynx isn't high and she doesn't have trouble doing belt notes such as the I am not a robot and how to be a heartbreaker chorus, the bridge of radioactive and the entirety of shampain, and she belts it without using her head voice. I'm done.
