I think the flat phone charger is also a no-go moving forward considering IOS 17 is bringing the Always on display dock update.
Yeah that’s true and they have other designs. I know not everyone is going to use standby mode or care about it. But something to think about for sure.
That’s only if they have a 14 pro/pro max and the 15 series because the always on display

Actually it works on my work iPhone 12 I just did the update and the stand by screen works on it. Apple locks aod on the iPhone pro series via software. They could easily do it for the other phones but yes the stand by rotation screen works on my 14pm and 12 base.

I feel like things like this should include the charger. Especially when we get up in the price range.
Honestly tee i agree with you on the fact that i thought they would’ve just added another white magsafe puck and called it a day (which i think i would’ve preferred) considering the fact that i use the alpine loop on my apple watch the new design doesn’t really work out for me. What i did a few months back was buy a base one and just have it pressed up right next to my base one max and kinda jerry rigged myself a three in one, still having to fight the urge real hard to not pick this up though lol
I was hoping if they came out with a 3-1. It would look like the Stand One, just with a flat surface for the buds and Apple Watch.
What phone case you rocking in this one?
Can you use the Apple 20 watt wall charger for this ?
i use the esr one that have a fan. i’d never use one without the fan in the summer because its so hot where i live and the phone would get too hot.
Totally understand what you’re saying as far as the side-by-side design argument but I do appreciate the compactness of this design and think it looks pretty clean. Would buy.
Yeah the compact design is clean and I’m sure that’s what they were going for but I don’t think folks would mind a side by side setup.

can you charge any ear buds with wireless charging on this?
Not sure if this would damage the band but is the AirPods magnet strong enough that you’d be able to compress the solo band against the back of the watch charger without it pushing the AirPods off? Milanese wouldn’t be an issue but I definitely can see the plastic/rubber bands having issues
No not at all. It’s not magnetic and just sits up there like any other charger that’s not MagSafe.
This is a tough buy because the Anker 3 in 1 charges at equal speed, comes with the charger and cost significantly less.

I would say the bigger design flaw is not being able to have phone in landscape for for the new nightstand mode
True but I know everyone isn’t going to use nightstand mode. TBH I’ll barely use it myself probably. I’m sure they will come out with something else that can take advantage of that functionality.
No pitaka mag Ez slider?🤯 thats my favorite 3 in 1. But this seems cool too. A little bit pricey imo though
Pitaka MagEZ slider is a clean design but I don’t really like many moving pieces when it comes to my bedside chargers or something like this format. Nomad products are usually pricey but the quality is always there.
The watch band is a deal breaker!
Only complaint This charger design makes the new nightstand feature in iOS 17 useless as well since you don’t have a upright position for portrait mode to be activated nightstand has been amazing since I’ve used it I can never go backwards now it’s a must while charging overnight

Just frustrating the perfect MagSafe multi doesn’t exist. Base 3in1 but where the phone is standing AirPods laying under or behind and the watch again behind.
I do like the clean look of this, and having the ability to charge AirPods is great. Definitely agree that not including fast charging for the watch charger is a big miss. The fact you can’t charge the watch and AirPods at the same time with certain bands is also a big mistake. Then you add the fact they don’t include the charging brick at this price. I’ll pass until they address some of these issues.
Yeah fast charging is a must and I know the certain band crowd might be small but it’s something you have to think about.
Nomad can do certain things right but this ain’t it. It’s a no go for me 😅
Between not supporting Standby Mode on iOS 17 and not having a charger, this thing is horribly overpriced.
I hate that these premium stations keep making flat MagSafe! Especially with standby mode.
And fun fact: AirPods Pro 2 have more charging methods than any other Apple product. Lightning, Qi, MagSafe, and Apple Watch charger!
after using ios 17 I gotta have a stand that puts my iphone in landscape upright, cant do flat or veritcal no more for me

Rather than buying this I would throw in 10 dollars more and get the esr 6 in one mfi certified charger and it charges faster than any othe magsafe as it is actively cooled and by the 5w is the max charging wattage even with the apple watch ultra you can watch charger lab's video about the woven charger cable than come in the box

If nomad is listening people here in Canada would love to buy some nomad products but your shipping rates are just ridiculously to high there are other couriers and cheaper options out there for deliveries to Canada don’t forget Canada does border the USA🤨

This was poor design all around. Awful airpod charger placement, flat magsafe, apple watch charger is stationary. This is absolutely not worth 170...
