I know this is off subject,
But do you know when the Cherokee Heritage Center will ever be opened again? It was my favorite as a child, and I am hoping to come back this spring or late summer. I was terribly sad to find out it's been closed for years now. It always intrigued me as a child, now as an adult, and I know more about my ancestors, I would love to look with these eyes of someone more wise and knowing. I can't find out anything other than my cousin saying the chief has been very firm fisted about some things since covid, but I don't know why that would be affecting anything now.

Osiyo! The Cherokee Heritage Center is important to all of us too. Yes, it currently closed to the public while we focus on future plans for this beloved and historic site. If you do visit Cherokee Nation, we hope you’ll visit some of our other unique attractions. You can learn about those here: visitcherokeenation.com/attractions
