I agree, this new one picks up too many mouth sounds for my liking. I know some people prefer that, so it might be better for them, but I couldn’t get through it.
The rode mics are the best!!! I couldn’t hear too much of a difference honestly in this video, but overall the sound quality is crisper. Great video as usual Charlette!
The RØDE is very good but I do think there’s more pick up of lip smacking and the sound is a little harsher than with your previous set up. Perhaps because this mic. has a bit more top end. I always feel a lightweight headset mic. would work well for this style of presentation . . .
I agree - it was easier to understand with the previous setup. I had to really turn up the volume & it made the lip smacking loud. But still love the series! ❤️

This channel needs a billion subs, the ASMR tingles are god tier. That being said I prefer the previous mic setup/mix
