I think this is one of the first times I've seen it done with explicitly live action and historical footage. That aspect really gives the video a unique feel.
Take some ninetees simpson episodes, mix with some weird nostalgia-up-screwing filter, take some vaporwave, put the clips in an order that somehow tells a story or catches a feeling and you have your perfect weird feel trip, that noone can explain afterwards
This video was traumatizing in a way it made me think about all the evil around us on a daily and the evil we indulge ourselves in doing sins, meaningless sex, drinking Alcohol poisoning our spirits and soul, greed, treating other HUMAN beings badly! Deceived and killing ourselves everyday we lower our vibration! LÜv lÜv lÜv!!
I used Premiere Pro CC Last time I used it was like 2-3 years ago so I totally didn't know what I was doing at first when making this. But it's actually really easy to use and learning it happened really fast.
i like... just one question: some of the clips you used "felt" kind of random to me. did you have a criteria for the clips you used? i'm only asking because i half expected to see some stuff from the final act of "treehouse of horror vi" or "el viaje misterioso de nuestro homer" and was half surprised when it didnt appear. i feel like that footage would have worked really well with the music. anyway great stuff. thanks
Some were random. I used whatever clips I could get within a short amount of time I guess. I quickly realized that downloading episodes and rewatching a lot of them would take too long. I agree that some particular clips would have gone well in my video, but like I said, finding them, editing them, and rematching them definitally find;t make it worthwhile. Maybe one day I''ll update this video with more clips. As i feel I could improve it a bit here and there. Especially near end.
