For minor sidewall damage on a slow speed, light duty tire like this you might try an emergency repair tire boot. Typically used for glass cuts in bicycle tires, I don't see why it wouldn't work for this application as well. It would require removing one side of the tire from the rim. www.parktool.com/product/emergency-tire-boot-tb-2?category=Tube%20%26%20Tire is one I've used.

Ome of the best things to do to lawnmower tires is to fill them full of slime when brand new. We have have issues getting debris in them when mowing our roadsides and the thorns off the locusts trees are hell on tires. The slim normally fixes the puncture without you even knowing it happened untill you remove the tire.

I never deflate the tire before plugging. By keeping the tire inflated, it's easier to use the reamer and insert the plug since the tire surface is tight and hard. Plus you can quickly tell if the leak is fixed or if it requires more attention.

I have done a lot of repairs on my moped with a kit like that.. but normally i use some rubber cement to get a 100 % seal. and if you leave the air in the tire when reaming and pouching in the plug its a lot easier.. and a good trick for setting the bead easy is to take out the valve and the blow air in to it... much more air flow thou the Schrader valve.. then you can set a bead even with a small hobby air compressor. but still a very good video. :) keep up the good work.

If you are lucky 3 heavy guys and a forklift will do the job, if not, spray Ether around the tire and ignite it. that will usually do it. That is the mower you sold all the T-Shirts for? It looks great and so do my extra t-shirts hanging in the closet! Thanks TeeSpring!

You shoulda left the air in the tire. The plugging kits work better with a few psi in the tire.

To set the tier I just kick it a few times and it builds a pressure form squeezing the air
