i worked at kmart on tilghman street in allentown pa for 20 years. i used to run the blue light specials and put blue circle dot stickers on items for the sale. i also worked on checkouts, jewelry and the garden shop. i miss working the garden shop during christmas when they had all that trim a home christmas merchandise.
Thanks for sharing. Before I moved to Florida three years ago I heard about this coming and took some pictures of the “Holy Donut”. I reshared that post and a friend told me of your vlog. I was going to share my photos with you but doesn’t appear to be a way to do that. I worked in retail for 25 years, the last job was for Rite Aid for 18 years. Gladly no longer in that field.
Worked 19 years for Wilmar Industries (it was a Warehouse job that serviced apartment maintenance). The Company merged with other distributors over the years- Barnett Brass and eventually acquired by Home Depot. Left the company in 2018.
I think there was a video where you walked around the building with John. I've been at my current job for almost 9 years. Hard to believe. My prior longest was 8 years and my department was cut after they hired some restructuring company.

I remember going to KoP from Phoenixville as a kid and being fascinated by the round building on the left-hand side - when we saw the sign said "Baptist" we thought it was a church and would ask our mom, "Can we go there?"...lol. Not sure if you're old enough to remember the Sheraton Hotel (now the Stardust Tower) and before they built the Convention Center/Casino?
Is this the place you showed in one of your early videos where you had the filling cabinet that you covered in stickers. Did you get to keep that cabinet?

I worked for a doctor's answering service in NJ before they closed the office to move to Upstate NY.

Yea. It was a hotel and convention center while i was working there. Changed a few years before I was laid off.
