Another great video Tris & some nice new additions to your collection. Shame about the Peckett it’s a nice looking locomotive, hopefully Hornby sort the problem for you.
Great video Triss the little heritage railway looked brilliant. Shame about your bear loco brock your other acquisitions looked amazing thankyou again for the video
I was ten years old the first and last time I travelled on that railway from Northampton Castle station. That was in 1951! Lovely layout of your fathers! 2 out of 3 is sad really, quality is really an issue with just about everything these days. Keep up the videos l enjoy them!
Nice video Tris. Nice fottage of the Northampton and Lamport railway I do love visiting heritage railways. Nice new additions too. Hopefuly you can get that Peckett fixed as they are lovely models. - Nicholas.
I’ve just finished watching all of your videos in order! I love your channel Tris and it’s now given me the confidence to start my own layout in our loft. I have a box of bits and bobs and some old locos (Mallard, Jinty and an old Scotsman). I also have my uncles Dublo 3 rail set and may even incorporate that into the layout. Thank you for all of your hard work in making these lovely videos. I look forward to your next video. Jim. ☺️
Hiya tris enjoyed the visit to Northampton and lamport it was nice to see a train with some wagon stock being run,not sure what the ventilated wagon was ? And to have a standard br brake van. More railways should be able to run goods stock after all this was the main stay of many railways. Always a pleasure to watch your adventures tris, lovely rushton really quite jealous. Thanks for all you do and all the tips. Eddy xx
Love the railway footage and you can volunteer for sure, just make a video of it and UA-cam will pay you anywhere between 1 pound 50 and 4 quid in ad revenue! 🤣 Gee that Express dairy Rusden would have been great. They had a depot a few miles from where I grew up. Nice find.
Good video . Liked the railway visit . Dapol comes from David and Pauline . They had a shop called Highfiekd birds and models and they bought up the old Airfix GMR stock then started Dapol for making new stuff
Lovely video and great footage at the beginning. Ive just got a rails terrier and it arived running terrible sadly, shame to see the peckett fail straight out of the box. Thumbs up to the the 4 wheel coaches. Cheers Shaun
Superb Tris, shame the Peckett is poorly but I am sure you will get it fixed. They are small but mighty, great work horses. Looking forward to seeing it run :) :) :) Have fun, take care and stay safe.
Lovely acquisitions Tris! I still have not found work, but I have this past week looked up some older station layouts to get inspiration and found a website called Disused Stations. I have taken the stock I have and started laying out the trackwork to see what I can achieve and what needs selective compression. Indeed the hobyy is expensive sometimes, haha. I have had some folks donate some old stock of theirs to me so be blessed. Hope you and the family keep well!
I just got an Army Ruston and can't get over how dinky it is next to my other locos! I've got DCC in it and want to get a stay alive so it will run nicely without the wagon. My Peckett is 'Niclausse' in green and runs very smoothly, too, I might repaint and renumber it as one of a pair (1150 and 1151) of 'swindonised' Pecketts that ran in Swansea Docks. I have been eyeing the Terriers with interest but would have to get a BR E/E version to fit in my era, but might just go 'what the heck' and get an 'Improved Engine Green' (!) ochre one...
Hi Tris - it looked liked you had a good day out . Nice new additions and the Ruston seems to be the best . Shame about Bear but hopefully Hornby will replace it. Cheers Kev
I am very impressed with the Rustin it’s my favourite loco out of the bunch. I got a replacement so I’ll be able to use the peckett now which is great 😊
Lovely video as always, there are some great locos on the N&L railway by the looks of things! I love the pecket, it's got a beautiful livery, I think I will ask for that for my birthday (not that my birthday is any time soon). Thank you for the video, you are most enjoyable channel to watch! Q: Do you know any good working signal kits I can buy online?
Looked like a nice day for the N & L Railway visit- great chance to see how it was once done. The additions are very sharp, except the faulty Peckett. I am sure you will sort that out, though. Cheers!
Would you say the GWR Terrier pack is worth picking up for the loco alone? I'm not particularly interested in the coaches either, but I really do like the look of the GWR Terriers, especially with that white roof.
You’re the first person to say that on any of my videos. Was it too quiet for you? UA-cam has a text option on the screen if your struggling to understand some videos
Nice work mate
Wonderful. It's all about the pleasure of tinkering with model trains. Wonderfully presented and a really interesting 22 minutes! Thank you!
Your layout really great
The terrier worked on the Portishead light railway till 1940 its called Portishead

Lovely video of the Lamport Railway. Lovely to see the little girl running alongside. Timeless. I hope you sort out the Peckett satisfactorily.

The cargo wagon has an electrical generator inside to power the carriages.

It was a nice day, I've been to Tonys Train and he has swapped it out for me which was nice.
the Express Dairy Ruston is like a diesel Ivor the Engine

Because they are hard to come by is why I got this one. If you wanted you could sell the coaches on after if you didnt want them.

Liked the video but having difficuly understanding what this guy is saying. Seems to have a strong accent which is hard for me to follow.
