Thank you....this video bought tears to my eyes as i recalled my childhood rambles through the English woodlands filled with bluebells near home in Kent.
If more people looked at, and considered the bluebell instead of their phones we could have some peace in the world, of that I'm sure. Lovely and beautifully presented.
So beautiful, thank you. I am in heavy lockdown in Spain, 36 days now, not even allowed out for a short walk. from East Cheshire & Derby's Peak District. Videos such as this help me keep my sanity and balance . Thank you so much :-)
There is something truly fascinating about Bluebells, takes me back to when I was 6 and they grew around the school wooded area. They are so delightful to look at. Thank you for your time filming and putting this video online.
Love bluebells,I grow up round the woods and I've just watched this to cheer me up with the dark nights and not knowing if we will be going back into lockdown this is a lovely treat 💙💙
Wow, that bluebell woodland looked incredible! One of the best I've seen. Your video inspired me to make my own on my local bluebel woods... they are such a fleeting joy, but offer so much of it while they last.
Thank you David and Audrey. Another gorgeous video. You can buy bluebell bulbs for the garden, but make absolutely sure they are *English* Bluebells. The Spanish Bluebells out-compete and hybridize with the native ones, making them go extinct over many years!
Im on catch up vlogs, this was a throw back to my childhood and teenage years, we had what was called Bluebells Wood , we loved walking through, (Barnton Cheshire) Ty for sharing both🎉
You talk like a story narrator.. Lovely wee video! The bluebells was my mama's favourite! We have a few bluebell (faerie) glens here in Scotland in the Caledonian! forests
Glorious, uplifting and British! We have a corner of Bluebells in the Tiverton Hospital Wildlife Garden. The mix of blues and Cowslip yellows is an absolute blessing,Simply restores the spirit for patients and staff alike .Yours was a lovely presentation ...Thank you. Gavin Haig FRCS.
That was absolutely heart warming, tear forming, delight...I'm Mrs. H & from Blackpool, you talk like my brother in Australia, this vid is going to them, as a Christmas card...Also, to Indonesia, & America...You've done grand, David, sharing this beauty with half the world, indeed...Thanks so much..I'm looking for daffodils & sweetpeas especially...(hints)
+david howard..... I'm so please you enjoyed the short video , I've also made a 12 minute video called "Nature's Floral Regeneration." which includes about 4 minutes on our wild Daffodils If you look up orchidcrossley on the google search engine you might find it but if it isn't their i'll upload it again best wishes David Crossley.
To David Howard The short film on Daffodils is called "The Daffodils of Farndale" . If you go into UA-cam and type in orchidcrossley "The Daffodils of Farndale" it should find it, it does on my computer. Best Wishes David Crossley.
Mrs. H again, David, I was so worried about your awful floods & not hearing from you, I thought your garden! & the handsful of frogs spawn! We don't see any frogs where we are, in Suffolk. Just hope all is ok with you. I certainly will go & see if I can find your next vid.
So sorry to see the dreadful floods around where you live in Burnley...& now York, ..the devastation is unbelievable for all of those people who are affected, I just hope & pray, you can go back to how it was with your lives.
Hi David, thank you so much for the video I really enjoyed watching it. I was wondering, where was it taken? I'd like to visit a bluebell forest this year but the one I liked has unfortunately been closed. I would appreciate it if you could tell me any recommendation in the north of England (Lancashire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire, etc). Thank you.
Thanks for watching. The 3 locations where I filmed the Bluebells were Spring Wood 1/2 mile out from Whalley in Lancashire, Clough Bank Wood about 1 Mile S.W. of Hurst Green in the Ribble Valley, and Feizor Wood about 1 mile East of Austwick in Yorkshire. The bluebells should be at their best this weekend they're early this year. The easiest location to view them is Spring Wood near Whalley you can park up there and follow the paths through the wood. I hope this has helped you.
Hi David, thank you so much for the locations and the direction as well! It was very helpful. I think I will try going to Spring Wood this weekend. I might even try another since it's a long weekend with a bank holiday. I can't wait to let you know what it was like! Thank you.
The flower is called WOOD ANEMONE (scientific name ANEMONE NEMOROSA) it's a member of the Buttercup family and grows and carpets ancient woodlands in April in undisturbed areas..
Hello, David, thank you for your time, very nice video. The next spring, I will love to visit Bluebell Hill. I live in London. Please, can you recommend me a Field Bluebell near of London for the next spring time? Thanks
Hi David, I was wondering if I could speak to you about potentially using some of the footage from this video for the ITV show Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmrash. Please let me know if there is a suitable number or email I can contact you on. Thank you!
Hi David. I am making a charity video for the blebell foundation. There is one shot that I would like to include from your video 2:08 - 2:10. Would that be ok with you?
I can't believe that you show yourself trampling the bluebells down, you know they are fragile and should only be viewed from regular paths. Yes they are lovely but need to be respected
It looks from the camera angle we were walking right through them but I can assure you that we are very aware about not treading on them and there was a way through.
Thank you....this video bought tears to my eyes as i recalled my childhood rambles through the English woodlands filled with bluebells near home in Kent.

These videos are so soothing. They’re really well done. Wish there were more of them.
So beautiful, thank you. I am in heavy lockdown in Spain, 36 days now, not even allowed out for a short walk. from East Cheshire & Derby's Peak District. Videos such as this help me keep my sanity and balance . Thank you so much :-)
Lucky enough to have lived near a bluebell wood for the majority of my life so far. Absolutely beautiful. Certainly my favourite flower

Really lovely. Mum and Dad used to take me there when I was a kid. It's still untouched and unspoilt.
Well done, thanks!!!!!! I am a long way away from an english meadow - so this is the way to see it for me.

That was a hyacinth though….

Please don't encourage people to walk through the middle of the bluebells, imagine if everyone was to do that!
You should not be walking on bluebells.
