What kind of fabric are u using
Hi Aleesha, I use quilt 100% cotton fabric on all my projects.
Hi Claudia! Where can I find the paper board specific for cartonnage?
Hi Flavia, it will depends of what you want to make. If it is a big box or you would like to carry something heavy on it, than a thicker chipboard is recommended. For small covers you can go with a 75 pt chipboard you will find on Paper Phenomenon website, or 85 pt you will find at Create for less online store. You may find another places to buy them. For my boxes I use a 0.1 inch thick chipboard that I buy online but they are in big sheets and not fun to cut by hand.... Another option is one "gray chipboard" you can find at Hobby Lobby, it's actually the color gray and they usually sell them also in big sheets near the frame section with the matboards. I have made some boxes with this one and it's better to cut by hand than the ones I'm using now. I also have some DIY kits with all paperboard included and already cut in the sizes required for the projects, you can check them in my online shop: www.colorwayarts.etsy.com. Hope that helps, if you have more question, I'm here!
Awesome! Thank you so much. That helps a lot!
