Motherboard issue on POCO phone isn't due to SOFTWARE UPDATE let me tell you why. I've been using Poco x3 pro 8/128 bought it in December 2021 since I bought it after 7-8 months later after it's release I had heard lot of cases about this phone dying. People were saying it's because of the software update, keeping it in my mind I never Updated my phone. Now today September 15, 2023 I've been facing reboot issue on phone since last two weeks. I've never updated the phone still I'm facing issues. Now the clear idea is that the phone actually had hardware problem. It's motherboard is cheap quality product. No problem with the software.
My poco F5 motherboard dead after few days and service centre is denying the warranty because of microscopic scratch. Never gonna invest single rupee on this brand. What is the use of 2 years warranty if Service centre dont agree and makes a new reason to reject warranty.

I would also ask him to educate his customer service agents who reject after sales service even for a few mm bend . Such bends are normal given that POCO phones are not durable, this costs the customer a lot of resources who eventually believed in your brand given that there is high competition nowadays. To build a brand you need to get the confidence of your customers , without that you wont last.
My phone was stuck in bootloop after an update I went to service centre and they said it is motherboard issue and it will cost the 75% of the Phone's cost I directly went to a local shop and he fixed it through edl and costed just ₹300
Still many people i know are Skeptical about buying POCO. They would rather stick to their old phone than buying a POCO device if no other better alternative is available.
I have been using Poco M3 since the release.The updates were slow but I have been using it with custom rom with root access and trust me the device helped me play PUBG 60 FPS AND COD 60FPS with some heating
How is it possible bro I have also poco m3 phone after 2 years I got a motherboard IC drip issue regarding screen dead after restart when I restart the device it doesn't On and shut down for 1-2 days after hard reset it turns on only while charging but if I again restart it then it goes sleep mode again 😢

My phone was still under warranty period at that time but I had some urgent work with my phone so the idiot, i.e, me decided to give my phone to a local mobile repairing shop. Little did I know they'd make the phone worse by unscrewing unprofessionally and damaging the fingerprint sensor, I'd have never given my phone to them. After that when I went to a Xiaomi service center, obviously they coined my phone devoid of warranty as it got damaged from the earlier local mobile repairing shop. After some time under their inspection, they found my motherboard to be dead and charged me a hefty amount of 8000 rupees. I had to give it as I had no choice and all of my data stored in the phone got wiped out in the process. It was really a horrible experience and took me around 20 days to get my phone fixed. I'm never buying any POCO or Xiaomi phone after this shitty experience(Part of the fault lies in me too, I'm not denying that). My phone's working fine now. The only issue remaining is the battery backup and the fingerprint sensor, otherwise it's good.
You have acknowledged that there's some quality issue with poco X2 and x3pro. Then why didn't you offer free repair or replacement of the device with which there's motherboard dead problem.? When we went to service centre, they are asking us to get the motherboard changed with our money. No matter what, the sole reason for the motherboard issue is the brand itself it may be because of cheap quality materials used or software update. Never gonna buy or recommend poco. THIS issue might happen in the future also

Once you lost trust it is difficult to get back. And please check the initial camera review of your new Poco F5. I think Poco has a good role in the fall of Xiaomi from the top spot to 4th spot. Also, they should provide not only a good processor but also quality hardware for the long run of the device.
Should have ask if there'll be motherboard issues with the poco x5 ,f5 and so forth..... Because i want to get one of this but due to its history regarding the motherboard issues+ not so cool customer service has made me take a pause.
I was using Poco x3, had issues with speakers, front camera and wide angle camera successfully exchanged the same with Poco f5, got 8k for that... Loyal fan

Phir mene 9 feb 2023 ko Vivo ka naya phone purchase kr liya. Me xiomi ke service center 18 March 2023 ko gaya pr mera phone warranty ke bahar he asa kaha gaya service center me mujhse, aur kaha ki iski motherboard dead ho gayi he. Aur 12,000 Rs lagenge naye motherboard ke. Aur abhi yaha video me Head Tandon ji se pata chala ki Poco x3 pro ki warranty 1 year se bada kr 2 Year kr di gayi thi pr mujhe tb pata nhi tha jb phone dead hua aur service center me bhi mujhe is warranty upgrade ke bare me nhi bataya gaya. Aur 19,500 ke phone me 12,000 rupeye ki motherboard replacement ka kaha gaya. To mene bina kuch repair karwaye phone le kr ghr aa gaya. Matlab phone Warranty me tha us samay 9 feb tk aur user ko pata nhi hone pr 12,000 me motherboard replace kar rhe the ye service center wale. Used POCO X2 for 2 years. Super phone, no issues. Exchanged it for F4 last year and got a hefty exchange value and F4 is running like buttery smooth. If F6 gets a curve display next year, can go for that also.
Advice from my side:dont get fooled by sweetalk!after all the motive of all companies is to earn money.He may say that he is a fan of poco but afterall he is also a businessman he also wants to promote his company by any means.
Brands are saying that we worked hard to replace the motherboards or old parts but they don't say that how they are selling the product without stocking the parts of that product in bulk so that if the consumer face the issue then they can resolve it at quick

Most of the poco phones have this issue ,not 0.5% ,it's 60-70% but people don't go to service centre about it coz they don't expect any help from u .my poco X2 camera went dead already,my frnd used poco x3 pro..his screen has to be replaced and then his front cam isn't working now either , another boy from my Village i saw had same issue .so it's not just a few cases and people aren't agitated about the delay in fixation
No matter what they say they cant bring back the user photos important data and other precious memories Why should someone appreciate the effort you put on covering your own mistake in first place
Just a thought, if they are aware that avg consumer changes their phone in longer period now and they are agreeing that because of that they are deciding how much warranty to give then who knows that these motherboard issues and updates ruining the phones just after the warranty expires is their deliberate strategy to get the consumer phone renew rate to restrict to those warranty tym limits so that it does not keep increasing. In addition to that now they can control exactly which phone to give less warranty and which one to give more warranty based on their profit margin of that device. because if they genuinely cared about the customer then all of their devices should come with the same updates limit and the same warranty limit regardless of prices.
Quality content, my poco x3 pro was dead after 4 months of purchasing new phone but no replacement was issued for me., I thinks it's my fault because when my phone was dead at night when I was using phone and next day I took it to local mobile repair shop and he opened it first then he said it not software problem it is motherboard problem and I took it to mi official service centre and they said it cannot be considered as in warranty because the phone is opened by the local shop so they said they asked me to pay 12,000 rs so finally and they are saying that again by chance phone is dead they said they will not give any warranty so I didn't repair the mobile.
The main issue was from their side bro .....your fault is minor, people go to local shop to save time and effort. But rejecting in service centre after acknowledging the motherboard problem creates trust issues.
Two months back i shifted from poco x2 to iphone 14 and i was totally satisfied with Poco in terms of camera , performance and all but the thing is its 4g and with the time of course its performance as well as camera is degrading at the time when i purchased it its camera was fantastic but have a experience with Poco

I have been using Poco F1 from the beginning and to me software updates stopped being important. Too much importance is given to updates and this is why even Indian companies like Lava and Micromax are struggling.
Let's say you buy a phone which costs somewhere around 25k, (exception: you are rich ) as a middle class family person you are going to use the device atleast 4 years or even until it is really dead..... Now generally most of the consumers are middle class..... They are not going to upgrade their phone before 4 years minimum.... Keeping the phone alive and work properly is very important.... That is where the software comes in.... Software uses the hardware and makes the phone work.... With new Android versions launching at a rapid pace the application are getting modified and moderated according to the Android versions.... If a phone doesn't have the proper Android version to work how can that phone be viable for 4 years of usage????. Lags, heating issues, battery consumption problems will start appearing in the device.... Software updates are very important for long term usage.... Not everyone is rich enough to buy an iPhone....
@@aayandutta2460 bro i had poco f1 for 4 yrs and just now upgraded to poco F5...F1 still works but there are few issues due to my rough usage.....I bought poco f1 when it was close to 1 year old...when I got the phone it had an update to Android 9 and I only got an update to Android 10....i used it without any update for 3 whole years...last update being and security update dating back to October 2020....i didn't have any issues regarding software updates...TBH updates most of the time changes a lot of things....and it takes some time to get used to....i don't think it's worth it if it doesn't add anything functional or imporve any existing feature...MIUI is feature packed....i don't think it's necessary to get updates for too long...and the later the updates come,the less refined it will be because that product won't lend profits for the company and they'll just send an update just for the sake of it... it'll just worsen the existing phone....now I actually don't care about Android update unless and untill it adds any feature or improve existing features

@@aneeshk2979 the scene with redmi phones are pretty bad.... In course of last 2 years the company has went downhill regarding the software updates.... Not just redmi, realme is going down the same path as well.... I am using the nothing phone 1 right now during its first update the phone had zero issues.... But with the second one the bugs started ruining the software.... Maybe that was intensionally done by Carl pei or not..... But gradually after updates the entire phone has turned almost bug free .... Its good enough for me.... I have used redmi note 5 pro for 5years.... Then I switched to note 10 pro but the phn got stolen while I was commuting via local train.... Needed a phone and got the nothing phone 1....

I Am Using One Plus 9R from 2021 And Few Weeks Ago I have The display green Line Use I Contact Nearest Service Centre Of One Plus They Replaced The Whole Display With 0 Cost with in 10 Days Which Is a Very Coustomar Friendly Thing And I Appreciate That. That's Why I Love One Plus ❤
These is no use of 2 years warranty as service centre guys denies it by saying that there is a little tiny scrach or motherboard is dead bcoz phone dropped on ground hence warranty ends.. POCO phones giving SD 7+ gen 2 but they are using cheap ICs and cheap recycled components in their motherboard.
Problem is Its a disadvantage to give the x4pro...it has 695 whereas 860 was present in X3 pro.... THAT'S WHY ITS A VERY BIG DOWNGRADE...NOT AT ALL A UPGRADE!
There's point of so much of talks. I have Poco X5 Pro 5G and the idle battery drain is like 10% in every 8 hours. Also SD778G seems to be not able to push it's full performance
I upgraded from poco f1 to poco F5...I feel that F5 camera could have been better ..the stock camera app seems to be the problem...i installed gcam mod which is not fully working but then too the overall output was better than the stock camera... stock camera app doesn't have good HDR performance for some odd reason...and not support for 4K 60FPS is a big bummer.... expecting it in the next update...this was the case with poco f1 as well but it was fixed with update....5 yr old phone supports 4K60 while a new phone which is expensive than poco F1 doesn't support it....need to be fixed....stock camera processing should also be imporved....

i owned a poco X3 which is dead now... there was a mother board issue like 7 months ago.. which we fixed paying Rs 2500 for it... just 2 days ago there was patches on colors on the screen,, and it turned off and never turned on again.. ive experienced it first hand.. like they didnt do anything to support me.. not only me tho,, there's a friend of mine who had poco x3 pro... same thing!! we have done like a hundred tweets on twitter.. there was no acknowledgement so far!!! my dad's using redmi 7 pro for like 7 years now.. realme 3 is also working really good after 5 years of use.... idk wtf was wrong with poco.. im just too frustrated!!! spent 22500 on a fucking scrap, we value our money! they really shouldnt talk about giving updates if that can kill a device entirely

Poco is able to provide next-level specs because it cheaps out on things not visible to the end consumer. A phone with slightly less power, but a lot of quality and optimization would be better any day than a total reckless powerhouse which can break down anytime.

You think that will keep me in restful mindset. Bro I was on my way home in a train and at that time my phone was dead. (it takes 14 hrs for me to reach home) the TTE was good that he helped me make a call to my dad who then sent the ticket for verification. (I'm a college student) Quite good situation right? Even the Poco centre in Siliguri(the place I reside in) denied of getting my phone repaired, but two months later when the same happened with one of my friend, they replaced the motherboard and it still works! Wow? Like I got a shtty *ss phone now.. GOOD work POCO 👍🏻
Poco C3 never got Miui 12.5 when even Redmi 9a got it. I am not too disappointed because my phone is better off not updated but very poor from POCO. Such a good phone for the price, works so well after 2+ years but no udpates.

When Poco x3 pro was launched i was very excited after that i got the device and started using it for gaming but after 7 to 8 months of using it it started to show it's true colours the was lagging whenever i tried to watch a video in landscape it begins to restart everytime then i have watched some videos on UA-cam to fix this and got to know that this was the software's problem (MIUI😡) and after using it normally 1 year later the motherboard was died exactly 1 year when i purchased the phone at the same date then i gone into the service centre of MI then they have also given me a trauma they rejected my phone by telling me that my phone has physical damage and asked 13k for the new phone
I have gifted this phone to my father, and exactly after 1 yr Motherboard is dead, and lost all the data. Even after they replaced Motherboard after 6month extended warranty, it is restarting constantly, can't even make a call for 5 mins

Motherboard issue on POCO phone isn't due to SOFTWARE UPDATE let me tell you why. I've been using Poco x3 pro 8/128 bought it in December 2021 since I bought it after 7-8 months later after it's release I had heard lot of cases about this phone dying. People were saying it's because of the software update, keeping it in my mind I never Updated my phone. Now today September 15, 2023 I've been facing reboot issue on phone since last two weeks. I've never updated the phone still I'm facing issues. Now the clear idea is that the phone actually had hardware problem. It's motherboard is cheap quality product. No problem with the software.

I would also ask him to educate his customer service agents who reject after sales service even for a few mm bend . Such bends are normal given that POCO phones are not durable, this costs the customer a lot of resources who eventually believed in your brand given that there is high competition nowadays. To build a brand you need to get the confidence of your customers , without that you wont last.

My phone was still under warranty period at that time but I had some urgent work with my phone so the idiot, i.e, me decided to give my phone to a local mobile repairing shop. Little did I know they'd make the phone worse by unscrewing unprofessionally and damaging the fingerprint sensor, I'd have never given my phone to them. After that when I went to a Xiaomi service center, obviously they coined my phone devoid of warranty as it got damaged from the earlier local mobile repairing shop. After some time under their inspection, they found my motherboard to be dead and charged me a hefty amount of 8000 rupees. I had to give it as I had no choice and all of my data stored in the phone got wiped out in the process. It was really a horrible experience and took me around 20 days to get my phone fixed. I'm never buying any POCO or Xiaomi phone after this shitty experience(Part of the fault lies in me too, I'm not denying that). My phone's working fine now. The only issue remaining is the battery backup and the fingerprint sensor, otherwise it's good.

Once you lost trust it is difficult to get back. And please check the initial camera review of your new Poco F5. I think Poco has a good role in the fall of Xiaomi from the top spot to 4th spot. Also, they should provide not only a good processor but also quality hardware for the long run of the device.

My Honest Experience with "Poco X3 pro🔥🔥🔥 " Mene Poco X3 pro 14 April 2021 me 19,500 Rs me liya tha iske specs dekh ke ki ye minimum 4 years to chalega aur 2023 me 30 January se 9 February ke bich me Poco dead ho gaya. Phir mene 9 feb 2023 ko Vivo ka naya phone purchase kr liya. Me xiomi ke service center 18 March 2023 ko gaya pr mera phone warranty ke bahar he asa kaha gaya service center me mujhse, aur kaha ki iski motherboard dead ho gayi he. Aur 12,000 Rs lagenge naye motherboard ke.
Aur abhi yaha video me Head Tandon ji se pata chala ki Poco x3 pro ki warranty 1 year se bada kr 2 Year kr di gayi thi pr mujhe tb pata nhi tha jb phone dead hua aur service center me bhi mujhe is warranty upgrade ke bare me nhi bataya gaya.
Aur 19,500 ke phone me 12,000 rupeye ki motherboard replacement ka kaha gaya. To mene bina kuch repair karwaye phone le kr ghr aa gaya.
Matlab phone Warranty me tha us samay 9 feb tk aur user ko pata nhi hone pr 12,000 me motherboard replace kar rhe the ye service center wale.
Outcome :- Acha hua mene Poco ke bad ab koi Xiomi ka phone purchase nhi kiya, nhi to ye Xiomi ke phone aur kharab hote rhenge aur company se bhi thage ja rhe he user, Xiomi ke phone purchase kr kr aur Xiomi ke service center se bhi thage jaenge. Xiomi wale mtlb phone bechne ke bad kharab hone pr repair krne ke naam pr bhi 💵💵 paise aeth rhe he.

Used POCO X2 for 2 years. Super phone, no issues. Exchanged it for F4 last year and got a hefty exchange value and F4 is running like buttery smooth. If F6 gets a curve display next year, can go for that also.

Just a thought, if they are aware that avg consumer changes their phone in longer period now and they are agreeing that because of that they are deciding how much warranty to give then who knows that these motherboard issues and updates ruining the phones just after the warranty expires is their deliberate strategy to get the consumer phone renew rate to restrict to those warranty tym limits so that it does not keep increasing. In addition to that now they can control exactly which phone to give less warranty and which one to give more warranty based on their profit margin of that device. because if they genuinely cared about the customer then all of their devices should come with the same updates limit and the same warranty limit regardless of prices.

I thinks it's my fault because when my phone was dead at night when I was using phone and next day I took it to local mobile repair shop and he opened it first then he said it not software problem it is motherboard problem and I took it to mi official service centre and they said it cannot be considered as in warranty because the phone is opened by the local shop so they said they asked me to pay 12,000 rs so finally and they are saying that again by chance phone is dead they said they will not give any warranty so I didn't repair the mobile.
The main issue was from their side bro .....your fault is minor, people go to local shop to save time and effort. But rejecting in service centre after acknowledging the motherboard problem creates trust issues.

I have been using Poco F1 from the beginning and to me software updates stopped being important. Too much importance is given to updates and this is why even Indian companies like Lava and Micromax are struggling.
Let's say you buy a phone which costs somewhere around 25k, (exception: you are rich ) as a middle class family person you are going to use the device atleast 4 years or even until it is really dead..... Now generally most of the consumers are middle class..... They are not going to upgrade their phone before 4 years minimum.... Keeping the phone alive and work properly is very important.... That is where the software comes in.... Software uses the hardware and makes the phone work.... With new Android versions launching at a rapid pace the application are getting modified and moderated according to the Android versions.... If a phone doesn't have the proper Android version to work how can that phone be viable for 4 years of usage????. Lags, heating issues, battery consumption problems will start appearing in the device.... Software updates are very important for long term usage.... Not everyone is rich enough to buy an iPhone....
@@aayandutta2460 bro i had poco f1 for 4 yrs and just now upgraded to poco F5...F1 still works but there are few issues due to my rough usage.....I bought poco f1 when it was close to 1 year old...when I got the phone it had an update to Android 9 and I only got an update to Android 10....i used it without any update for 3 whole years...last update being and security update dating back to October 2020....i didn't have any issues regarding software updates...TBH updates most of the time changes a lot of things....and it takes some time to get used to....i don't think it's worth it if it doesn't add anything functional or imporve any existing feature...MIUI is feature packed....i don't think it's necessary to get updates for too long...and the later the updates come,the less refined it will be because that product won't lend profits for the company and they'll just send an update just for the sake of it... it'll just worsen the existing phone....now I actually don't care about Android update unless and untill it adds any feature or improve existing features

Not just redmi, realme is going down the same path as well.... I am using the nothing phone 1 right now during its first update the phone had zero issues.... But with the second one the bugs started ruining the software.... Maybe that was intensionally done by Carl pei or not..... But gradually after updates the entire phone has turned almost bug free .... Its good enough for me.... I have used redmi note 5 pro for 5years.... Then I switched to note 10 pro but the phn got stolen while I was commuting via local train.... Needed a phone and got the nothing phone 1....

There's point of so much of talks. I have Poco X5 Pro 5G and the idle battery drain is like 10% in every 8 hours. Also SD778G seems to be not able to push it's full performance

I upgraded from poco f1 to poco F5...I feel that F5 camera could have been better ..the stock camera app seems to be the problem...i installed gcam mod which is not fully working but then too the overall output was better than the stock camera... stock camera app doesn't have good HDR performance for some odd reason...and not support for 4K 60FPS is a big bummer.... expecting it in the next update...this was the case with poco f1 as well but it was fixed with update....5 yr old phone supports 4K60 while a new phone which is expensive than poco F1 doesn't support it....need to be fixed....stock camera processing should also be imporved....

I want to buy this phone but the problem is there Is no official warranty for it in Egypt ( my country) , so if anything happens to the phone I will drope dead.

Mera bhi X3 PRO ka motherboard kharab ho gaya tha lekin service centre ne 1 week mai sahi karke de diya tha aur abhi tak sahi hai mere pass poco ke 3 phone hai X3 PRO, M2 AND X4 PRO 5G and I am satisfied my poco smartphones 👍

i owned a poco X3 which is dead now... there was a mother board issue like 7 months ago.. which we fixed paying Rs 2500 for it... just 2 days ago there was patches on colors on the screen,, and it turned off and never turned on again.. ive experienced it first hand.. like they didnt do anything to support me.. not only me tho,, there's a friend of mine who had poco x3 pro... same thing!! we have done like a hundred tweets on twitter.. there was no acknowledgement so far!!! my dad's using redmi 7 pro for like 7 years now.. realme 3 is also working really good after 5 years of use.... idk wtf was wrong with poco.. im just too frustrated!!! spent 22500 on a fucking scrap, we value our money! they really shouldnt talk about giving updates if that can kill a device entirely

Poco is able to provide next-level specs because it cheaps out on things not visible to the end consumer. A phone with slightly less power, but a lot of quality and optimization would be better any day than a total reckless powerhouse which can break down anytime.

Bro I was on my way home in a train and at that time my phone was dead. (it takes 14 hrs for me to reach home) the TTE was good that he helped me make a call to my dad who then sent the ticket for verification. (I'm a college student)
Quite good situation right? Even the Poco centre in Siliguri(the place I reside in) denied of getting my phone repaired, but two months later when the same happened with one of my friend, they replaced the motherboard and it still works! Wow? Like I got a shtty *ss phone now.. GOOD work POCO 👍🏻
Poco C3 never got Miui 12.5 when even Redmi 9a got it. I am not too disappointed because my phone is better off not updated but very poor from POCO. Such a good phone for the price, works so well after 2+ years but no udpates.

When Poco x3 pro was launched i was very excited after that i got the device and started using it for gaming but after 7 to 8 months of using it it started to show it's true colours the was lagging whenever i tried to watch a video in landscape it begins to restart everytime then i have watched some videos on UA-cam to fix this and got to know that this was the software's problem (MIUI😡) and after using it normally 1 year later the motherboard was died exactly 1 year when i purchased the phone at the same date then i gone into the service centre of MI then they have also given me a trauma they rejected my phone by telling me that my phone has physical damage and asked 13k for the new phone
