* The Labradorite that had all the iridescence is my second favorite. Some of the Colors were amazing & bright... The Mookaite is my favorite.. you picked a very colorful piece..
What a bunch of nice materials. Teamwork once again pays off for Mr./Mrs. 'Did! There should be some awesome slabs and cabs from those selections; look forward to seeing them.👌
Wow! A peacock in the snow. That's a new one! I love sodalite and have never seen any UA-cam rockhounders find any. The rose quartz looks so lovely in the snow. And that Labradorite!!!!! Awesome video!
Great place! I’ve never been but I’m sure it was super fun! I will forever now call kambaba jasper, baba 😆😆. Jim, your hilarious 😂. Thank you for sharing ❤️ Stay Crystal 💫
Oh My Goodness! I love everything you guys bought. Especially love different jaspers(mookaite 😍) the amethyst and the blue lace agates. I'm definitely going to save up to go to the Richardson's Rock Ranch. You two picked out such beautiful rocks of each kind. BTW, you guys crack me up.😅 Thank you for sharing your new treasures. Can't wait to see what you do with them, you'll have to show us for sure!✌🤠
Don’t know if you’ve cut the Mookaite yet but the white/cream colour sometimes comes up translucent and when it streaks through the other colours it’s really pretty 😊 you can’t tell till it’s cut though 😊
What a nice haul. The last time my wife and I were there, you could still go out rock hunting. I'm with you Jim but I simplify it even more. It's a pretty rock or a leaverite. It's worked well for us. Keep having fun! Be happy, safe and stay healthy. 😷⚒
The agate @3:12 is not graveyard point agate. looks to be a blue banded agate. Moroccan looks close but lacks the red. They do have rocks there that arnt listed on their website. Always love going to their shop. Good people
Oh wow what a beautiful selection. I could spend hours at that place haha. No one would want to go with me because I'd have to touch all the rocks. Hope to go there one day. Cant wait to see some of these slabs!
Thanks for sharing as always Kate, much appreciated! Oh how I miss visiting Bonnie and John over at Richardsons, gonna have to stop by and say hi in March or April this year when the passes clear some. (the I84 down the gorge and hwy 97 south isn't a good option now either between avalanches and mudslides) Anyway, IMO there is always something to catch your eye there and I for one tend to get a little rock crazed drooling over all the pretty material~
Oh my goodness Katie did Oh I would love a bunch of that stone oh I’d love the cut and make cabs out of a lot of that oh you’re gonna have to tell me where this place is so I can order stuff
No. Gotta call them with your order, and take note of the winter operating hours. Be sure to let them know what size your saw is, they'll pick out the appropriately sized lumps.
@@KatyDidRocks Thanks Katie, that sounds a lot better than 110 degrees!!! unless it gets 100 degrees there in Sept! I'm going to try to make it this year!
Curious about that myself too...I think all I've ever dug up out there agate wise is either plume, dendritic, white cow, botryoidal and moss types of agate?
It's very blue 💙 Yep, a blue rock. SoVERY many beautiful rocks!!!
Yep, BLUE!
You guys bought some amazing rocks. Right on Kate. That kumbaba jasper is awesome. 😎
KumBABA! :)
Now that’s a shopping trip I could enjoy!
Right? :D
Love Richardson Ranch! That should be on everyone's bucket list... Awesome score my friend...
It is a magical place.

Great rock finds, my wife and I are looking forward to visiting there in the Spring. It looks like a lot of fun.
It really is! Come before late April, when the river starts to rise...
Very cool and interesting rocks. I love the peacocks. So pretty. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see what you do with them.

Lots of nice goodies. My wife Kathy says she likes the red one.
Thank you! :)
I have Morrigan amethyst beads, they have a red flash in them, they also glow under a UV light !
Nice!

I agree! Thanks for the info...
So many beautiful rocks :) Those look like they'll be a lot of fun to slab and work, but they're also beautiful whole
I agree. I've been slabbing this week, and every cut is another gift.
Beautiful rocks! 🦚
Thank you! :)
Wonderful assortment. Bet you were both like children in a lolly shop!!
Most definitely.
Isn’t sodalite fluorescent under black light?
Yep. Glows a dull red under 365nm UV light.
I need to get a light to look. :)

Cool Rock Jim! Beautiful Specimens Kate! Was that the stoneware you were in or was it your yard? Peacocks and Peahens, guess we know who the boss is.
The outdoor shots were at Richardson Rock Ranch.

@@KatyDidRocks Hi 🙋💖 keep getting repeat messages.... thanks so much for all of your videos😄😍😘

Yes! It was a little easier to KINDA control myself, as most of the stuff was covered with snow - but it is a must-visit place, for sure.
It looks like "Tree Agate".
Had to look that up - another name for dendritic agate - cool!
Oh my goodness Katie did Oh I would love a bunch of that stone oh I’d love the cut and make cabs out of a lot of that oh you’re gonna have to tell me where this place is so I can order stuff
Richardson Rock Ranch, near Madras, Oregon. They have a web site, and they ship!
HI MS.KATIE 🖐
Hello. :)
Prevent PA here with a different name. I love mookite I’m tumbling some right now
Hello!
@@KatyDidRocks 🤎
Your unknown rock was a goast seam agate from Morrocco
Thank you!
who needs Disneyland as a destination vacation when you can go to Richardson Rock Ranch! probably cheaper too lol!
Not after I'M done shopping!
11:02 That's green Zebra Jasper.
Edit: Same with 12:48.
Cool! It seems grainier than I would expect for jasper - thanks for the ID!
hello, that bird's eye looks like thomsonite
I see they have a website, but do they have an online store?
No. Gotta call them with your order, and take note of the winter operating hours. Be sure to let them know what size your saw is, they'll pick out the appropriately sized lumps.
Nope, they're pretty old school.
Get a little UV light, the sodalite may glow in the dark!
I'll check. :)
Hi, any idea if there will be a gathering in Billings this year??
Hi, Donna! We are thinking about September, but nothing is set in .... STONE! :D
@@KatyDidRocks Thanks Katie, that sounds a lot better than 110 degrees!!! unless it gets 100 degrees there in Sept! I'm going to try to make it this year!
Wait, wait! Does this sodalite glow under UV light like the sodalite in the U.P. of Michigan?
I'll check!
Where did you rock shop? Please tell
It was at the Richardson Rock Ranch near Madras, Oregon. :)
I don't think that banded agate is Graveyard point!
Curious about that myself too...I think all I've ever dug up out there agate wise is either plume, dendritic, white cow, botryoidal and moss types of agate?
I think you're right. I have no idea WHAT it is. Pretty, I guess. :D
your like me someone will ask "what kind of rock is that?" and I will say "pretty!"
:D
Your unknown r🤓
