    * The Labradorite that had all the iridescence is my second favorite. Some of the Colors were amazing & bright... The Mookaite is my favorite.. you picked a very colorful piece..

    Wow! A peacock in the snow. That's a new one! I love sodalite and have never seen any UA-cam rockhounders find any. The rose quartz looks so lovely in the snow. And that Labradorite!!!!! Awesome video!

    Oh My Goodness! I love everything you guys bought. Especially love different jaspers(mookaite 😍) the amethyst and the blue lace agates. I'm definitely going to save up to go to the Richardson's Rock Ranch. You two picked out such beautiful rocks of each kind. BTW, you guys crack me up.😅 Thank you for sharing your new treasures. Can't wait to see what you do with them, you'll have to show us for sure!✌🤠

    I have Morrigan amethyst beads,they have a red flash in them,they also glow under a UV light !

    Don’t know if you’ve cut the Mookaite yet but the white/cream colour sometimes comes up translucent and when it streaks through the other colours it’s really pretty 😊 you can’t tell till it’s cut though 😊

    What a nice haul. The last time my wife and I were there, you could still go out rock hunting. I'm with you Jim but I simplify it even more. It's a pretty rock or a leaverite. It's worked well for us. Keep having fun! Be happy, safe and stay healthy. 😷⚒

    The agate @3:12 is not graveyard point agate. looks to be a blue banded agate. Moroccan looks close but lacks the red. They do have rocks there that arnt listed on their website. Always love going to their shop. Good people

      Yep. Glows a dull red under 365nm UV light.

    Oh wow what a beautiful selection. I could spend hours at that place haha. No one would want to go with me because I'd have to touch all the rocks. Hope to go there one day. Cant wait to see some of these slabs!

    Thanks for sharing as always Kate, much appreciated! Oh how I miss visiting Bonnie and John over at Richardsons, gonna have to stop by and say hi in March or April this year when the passes clear some. (the I84 down the gorge and hwy 97 south isn't a good option now either between avalanches and mudslides) Anyway, IMO there is always something to catch your eye there and I for one tend to get a little rock crazed drooling over all the pretty material~

      Yes! It was a little easier to KINDA control myself, as most of the stuff was covered with snow - but it is a must-visit place, for sure.

      No. Gotta call them with your order, and take note of the winter operating hours. Be sure to let them know what size your saw is, they'll pick out the appropriately sized lumps.

      Curious about that myself too...I think all I've ever dug up out there agate wise is either plume, dendritic, white cow, botryoidal and moss types of agate?
