I'm sure that's in large part due to this being how I'd love my love story to go, and two because it's perfect in every way possible! In the beginning she goes fur shopping on her own. She doesn't NEED a man to be successful. That said, then on a chance encounter on the street, she meets a man who will change her life! He will admire her beauty, her grace, her intelligence, and everything about her. He will make sure she not only never has needs again, but he will make sure that she wants for nothing. It's what she deserves, to be loved, cherished, and taken care of. With someone as beautiful, graceful, and feminine as her, she deserves whatever she wants. So, that's why when she takes him to take her fur shopping, he is willing to get her whatever she wants. All of those sables and lynxes she tried on are absolutely amazing! I might have to make another comment later simply going over those coats in detail with how lovely they are! In so many places people have decided that there is somehow something evil about a true queen ending up with a wealthy handsome man who WANTS to take care of her. How? Like, honestly, if a woman is beautiful, intelligent, and feminine and a wealthy man wants to love her and take care of her, that's society's problem and evil how exactly? I think it's beautiful and what she deserves. Then, in thosr same societies people wonder why men are going to places like Russia where there are queens that will actually let them take care of them and adore them.
