We replaced the Cheep Charger with the Dry Bomber and maxed out 4 of its stats to mimic how it feels in Mario Kart DS! One of my favorite vehicle mods yet easily

No, that was just the animation. He would have accelerated back to top speed literally immediately if the mini turbo was actually still active. He sped up fast due to the acceleration stat itself, not the miniturbo

The orange mini turbo is absolutely insane, imagine that on something like the wild wing or honeycoupe
Ive played a mod like that and the orange mt lasts 6 seconds on the wild wing and concerto lol, its better than the flame runner mach bike for frontrunning lol

Ah, nostalgia. I remember using this character/vehicle combo to boss my way through the off-road flower shortcut during that one turn in Peach Gardens, smiling to myself at how little I was slowing down.

Ahh the hours and hours I spent in MKDS practicing snaking with this very combo since Dry bones was always my fav and this was basically one of two of the best snaking vehicles. Thanks for the nostalgia trip.

Yoo this was my favourite kart in Mario kart DS!! This brings back some memories :) I always used this thing, whether racing or exploring tracks, because it was perfect for being precise

I remember I was like 8, learning how to PRB on snes mario circuit 1, with the dry bomber, spent hours just getting the hang of it, this video was so nostalgic feeling

I too used the Dry Bomber when I played DS years ago.
My thumb began tingling again, thinking back to all the snaking I did on this kart!
The shock on sherbet land was interesting. It barely even slowed you down while the animation was playing.
This really makes me want a gameplay mod with DS/DD style drifting. Would be fascinating to see proper snaking in Wii
My combo back in DS was Dry Bomber and Bowser. Needless to say later my friends soon banned bowser due to the weight and my tendency to mushroom them and send them flying off the course and still have amazing control.

Nice! Dry bones with dry bomber was also my favorite combo, I just loved the max acceleration because I get 'mario-karted' so much, and mini turbo because I drift like a maniac. Then when I got mario kart wii with the same attitude and thought... wauw the baby booster is the best... OOF!

I have used that dry bomber kart when I got the game in 2014 just to play it for nostalgia once I unlocked it. It was the fastest, most amazing kart but ofc they made it have one mushroom for its great stats.
I love how it is a literal tank (tank destroyer to be specific ) is a LIGHT WEIGHT
Fun Fact: The Dry Bomber likely inspired the creation of the Quacker, as they both have similar stats.

I also mained dry bones + bomber for some PRB action. There were also a couple of people in my clan that used yoshi + egg shell kart which worked really well for snaking.

I can imagine Troy nearly about to get first on Wario's Gold Mine with the Dry Bomber and getting trucked off at the end by a Funky on the Platinum Runner.

Imo this wouldve worked better if atlas made the drift worse for snaking (like the actual dry bomber in mkds) but still really cool vehicle mod!

I loved the dry set in DS. My first set was Luigi bc I thought Mario's stats were too balanced and Luigi had higher speed. But when I found DB I damn near gave myself carpal tunnel bustin drifts all over the speedways.

I don’t know about everyone else but I really want to see this vehicle in the all vehicles can inside drift mod. It’s going to be easier to get orange mini turbos on turns and maybe even change how to snake on straightaways. Despite the lack of speed, I honestly think if this thing had inside drift it would be a high tier along with the bullet bike but not as good as good of the flame runner or mach bike because of its crippling weight stat.
This is the kind of shenanigans I want to see!

Even though the tier list states the prowler is significantly worse than the Quacker, due o high stats and inside drift, it would be interesting to see if the heaviest vehicle could dominate the lightest or if the Quacker does better

Honestly, I want to see a mod of the classic dragster making it the Mach 8, with like jetsetter speed and weight, but good other stats

Man, all you did was slowly brush against that Flame Runner. The Funky Kong wasn't even speeding through you - he was almost stopped and you were driving past him below top speed...and yet somehow you were still flung 10s of metres off course.
What the actual hell is up with weight in this game? You'd think that Funky Kong Flame Runner was a literal touch-sensitive catapult.
