That preview pick, there's nothing more great than receiving shoes. It seems like a task to get them. It's such a good feeling to receive them after your own are tattered and falling apart. My adoptive mom wouldn't get me any till one time I had worn mine down so bad that there were holes. Goes the same for clothes. I'm gonna be 33 here this month and I still have a hard time being concerned about shoes and clothes because I was shown they aren't that important. I thought that was a norm. Please make sure your children or the people in your life are getting shoes or clothes if possible.
I do agree, when I was in prison my dad wouldn't send me ant money because as he said they're paying for your place to sleep and your meals why do you need money. That wasn't a question he was always super cheap towards his family but went out of his way for my step mom before she was my step mom. Before my mother died.

I met Willard Scott in Los Angeles during his days portraying Ronald McDonald. He came to a fund-raiser the teen group I belonged to had for a charitable effort. We washed his Class A motor home. He was very generous in his donation to the cause. Kind and funny man.

Indeed. Very powerful. Not all Germans were aware of the concentration camps. Many were as shocked as the rest of us.
The ones who look the most shocked seem to be very young; they would've been drafted late in the war, I think.
