I've got one of these to go along with my Zastava M57, also in 7.62x25. I've been loading the 35-round magazine by hand, and it's a pain. If you have a better technique, could you post that?
Could you tell me why in your video that the gun in the video, when you cock it with a magazine in it, Why is it that the bolt fully closes back up on it and chambers a round? This is supposeed to be a open-bolt machine gun.. And it would be open when after you cock it and wouldnt chamber a round on a closed bolt like the video shows... Also if it were an empty magazine it would keep the bolt open and not closed like yours in the video does..
Sadly it is difficult to own an actual fully automatic weapon in the US (even though we're known for having loose gun laws). This is not an original PPS-43 - it is a semiautomatic-only replica made by a Polish company. The folding stock is also welded closed (since the barrel is less than 16 inches long so in order for it to have a stock it would be considered a short-barreled-rifle which is also tightly regulated). Part of the ATF requirements for this to be made into a semiautomatic version is for it to fire from a closed bolt and not an open bolt (as you rightly point out was the way the original worked). Likewise, since it was not originally designed to lock open on an empty magazine, neither does this replica do that..
Found your channel by accident, SO GLAD I DID.
GREAT CHOICE .🎉
Its simple gun but cheap, effective and reliable
