I watched Mark on Cleared Hot and now on Danger Close. Both very inspiring conversations. I think there's something that comes out in these peer to peer conversations which you don't get from a standard media interview. Very cool - and it takes courage to put some of this stuff out there. Thank you - I'll be buying the book 👍
I DIED laughing on “They didn’t explain how to do the combat side stroke. They just threw you in and said, don’t suck.” 😂 I was lucky back in 92, had several guys teach us In the Marine Corps tips and tricks. I was not a fan of swimming. I learned to love it.
I absolutely love that even though I’ve spent hundreds of hours going through Mark’s story, I got to hear more stories today!! The genuine connection and camaraderie between the two of you is pretty priceless.
Jack, really enjoyed this episode and appreciated the insight into your Naval career. I know this is not an aspect you talk about much and it was good to hear the relationship you and Mark have and your life in BUD/S.
Thanks for your service and sorry for the loss of your friends on this Memorial Day. Great conversation. I love the books and would love to see more on Prime. I’m current and am waiting for Red Sky Mourning.
Outstanding interview, Mr Carr! I was just a common Navy Salvage diver at Little Creek, but went TAD to St. CROIX several times with Team 2 guys. Always patriotic, but never quite as much so watching this exchange! You guys need to make this interview mandatory for civics class in all schools in order to promote patriotism and anti-racism in country!
Jack has been a pioneer in so many ways and I’ve learned so much from him and his experiences. Glad we were able to do some deep dives in this interview
Another awesome podcast Jack and now I have another book to read great listening to you and your teammates reflect on how much each other move thru your journey together in the teams and after serving the struggles to transition into your next career path.. Thank you and Mark for your sacrifice and service. Looking forward again to seeing you soon on the next book tour
Great start of the New season of Danger podcast with Mark Greene, I saw him on the other podcast with Andy, another great former Navy Seal a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to check out the Red Sky Mourning by Jack Carr and unSEALed by Mark Greene books. Keep up with the good work Jack Carr 🎖🎖⚓⚓🔱🔱
EMDR worked well for me and helped me remember good and bad memories. It’s a newer therapy that my guy at the VA and I went through. God, it has helped with the past issues. I’m glad it worked for Mark too. You guys are great and I loved this episode.
Great Episode Brochochos! Mark, I will get Your book. It will be a great addition to My Library of Awesomeness! Jack, I will of course read anything You write!
🦋 I don’t see it as complaining. I see it as information. I think this show is so incredible. You both are so amazing. Thank you for digging in. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for caring about us enough to let us know you, if only for an hour. Wow much love and many blessings to you both.
🦋 This hour and 45 minutes was like 10 minutes never even thought about how long I was investing. But definitely knew it was worth investing because I’m very particular how I spend my hours these days and just for the record I definitely feel like you added value to my life, both of you again grateful much love and many blessings to you both.
🦋 discovered you from RFKJR Podcast may be back in September. Just getting around to your podcast and I am so glad I did. I am a fan. I love shoptalk. Next month I’ll start reading your books. Thanks for a great show.

I never grew to love it but all that time in the water made me super comfortable especially on those long ocean swims

Shelby did an amazing job of capturing my stories and adding so much texture to them. I’m glad you were able to hear some new stories in this podcast

What a wonderful thing you did for the parents of your lost teammate. That was a tear-jerker.
They were so happy to hear stories about their son. He was such a great classmate and it was heartbreaking to lose him and so many others that day.

Had such a great time reconnecting with Jack.
1:03:45 When you're delighted to get a letter of recommendation, but the man follows it up with a personal visit

Love this! Any chance can you do a podcast with an expert on terrorism in the Sahel region in west Africa? Violent extremism is on the rise there.
I definitely need to pick his brain more on his time in Africa. Jack had such a great career. True Warrior!!
