    I find it hard to model complex exact surfaces in rhino. Do I really have to eyeball it all the time?

    • @simpernchong
      @simpernchong  5 років тому

      For me, i try to work around its inherent limitations by adding appropriate elements such as curves, points, etc to help the software create the necessary surfaces. For complex modelling, it is an iterative process of refining the surfaces based on elements extracted from the preceding surfaces.

      @@simpernchong how would you make 2 curved surfaces that are slowly blending into one? Make 3 surfaces and try to blend them?

    Hello ! do you take online classes? or 1 on 1 classes?

    • @simpernchong
      @simpernchong  3 роки тому +1

      Hi, so sorry for the late reply. Personally, I find online classes not being as effective as physical Face to Face lessons. But I guess, you are not residing in Singapore?

      @@simpernchong Hello sorry I could not get the notification of your reply. I am not in Singapore unfortunately. I live in Japan. And I do not speak japanese well so I was looking for classes in english specifically for furniture and found you.

    I'm unclear on what specifically is the double curvature part of this video. Perhaps I need to know what exactly double curvature is in design and/or surfacing.

    • @simpernchong

      Hi Daniel, Double curvature in my video refers to the surface having curved profile in both directions (U and V or horizontal/vertical). Cheers.

      You are welcome. This video is a request from an industrial designer here in Singapore on how to create the form, so I thought maybe i should share it on UA-cam.
