Try Asus customer support, might be able to have it RMA'd if still under waranty.

It might just be that the ribbon got unplugged, you can try and reseat the ribbon.

Hey! Is it possible to upgrade the ram to 64gb 5600mhz (2x32), or is it only possible to have maximum of 32gb 4800mhz? Any answers are appreciated.

This specific model only supports up to 2x 16gb DIMM sticks for a total of 32GB.

Don't listen to them. I have a Rog Strix g15 advantage edition and upgraded mine to 64gb of RAM. Thing is a beast!

Traslate, amigo, antes tienes que si o si desconectar el conector de la bateria para mover cosas de la placa madre, quizas eso fue que dio algun corto circuito por estar la placa madre encendida por la bateria y te dio un chispazo. F🤕

Is it not charging? or is just the light for charging? If it is not charging it probably shorted the charger, you should try with another charger. If the laptop is charging (in windows) but not showing the lights, it probably fried all the lights.

ENG: You cannot disconnect the battery because the RGB strip holds the bottom cover. You must release the bottom cover, by disconnecting the ribbon, then you disconnect the battery. I guess his hands were shaking and the touch with the ribbon other components. Or used some sort of screwdriver when he undid the ribbon.
SPA: No puedes desconectar la batería porque la tira RGB sujeta la tapa inferior. Debes soltar la tapa inferior, desconectando la cinta, luego desconectas la batería. It depends from country to country, i can vouch for Europe that you can upgrade the laptop without voiding warranty. Other countries may require to send it to service in order to upgrade it.

My g15's keyboard is malfunctioning, when i press keys t y u o, the f4 is also typing out on it's own. Already did upgrade/uninstall kb on device manager. Still the same 😢

My keyboard issue got even worse. It reached to power on/off button. My laptop automatically started locking itself and then started turning off😂

I had the same problem but when they changed the card now everything is fixed. Don’t forget to change wifi card. My laptop was under the warranty at that time
