In today's Fortnite tips and tricks video, we're once again talking about how to rank up fast and how to reach unreal rank in Fortnite ranked mode during the OG Fortnite season. Fortnite ranked mode recently had a rank reset to start out Fortnite OG, and players are scrambling to figure out how to rank up fast in Fortnite ranked mode, and reach unreal rank in Fortnite OG. To reach unreal rank in OG Fortnite, or just rank up fast in ranked mode, you'll be able to do this more effectively if you understand the ranked system, play the right gamemode for Fortnite ranked, and optimize your playstyle. This video is meant to cover all that, and by the end of it, once you use all these Fortnite OG ranked tips and tricks, you should be able to rank up fast in Fortnite ranked mode, possibly even reaching the coveted unreal rank. is it just me or did arena just feel way more accomplishing as well even high end contender league felt good to be at

It made me feel much more accomplished whenever I rose divisions
It's crazy how almost everyone gets bots and play against beginners, which makes it easy to get so many kills even though some players are absolute trash or just lucky...

One of my favorite places to land is the western town just out of paradise palms. It has very good loot and when the storm comes there is multiple rifts you can take to get to zone.
i started landing there when i placed gold, once i hit champion there is always like 2/3 duos

When ever I play rank and I die or win my rank will say it will automatically update wen ready so I go back to lobby n I'm still the say rank even if I restart my game and I went to fortnite tracker to see if it's just the game but fortnite tracker also says the same thing plz help me

You should do a best drop spot video love the channel
land big tree near risky, get a grappler, rotate to edge of wailing woods, hide in a tree. keep using your grappler to hide in a tree until last 3 players, third party and win. been doin that since gold and I'm a elite now. took abt 2 to 3 days. gets boring but worth it lol
get 1 or 2 kills, all abt placement really. if u keep doing that you'll get to unreal fast asf

It’s amazing to see another player to use the F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 keybinds, grew up on them and they work well because I’m almost unreal in the new season!

Last time i was grinding for a high rank was chapter 2-3 for champs in arena. This season i've been playing ranked alot for the first time and right now i'm champion with 32%. I still dont understand how ranked works haha.

If you hit a rank amd than go down to the previous one which rewards do you get?
The one you are currently on so if you went down you get the rewards the rank you went down to. And there ranked rewards?
Ngl it would make sense why the I've been able to get some % more towards late game than early game, me and my friends we try to avoid any unnecessary fights to stay alive towards the end and try getting kills

Is Fortnite Ranked easier than ever? I don't usually play ranked but before i was silver 2-3. Now in the og map I'm already platin 1 after being put into bonce 3. But the other player aren't nearly as good as the ones I used to face in silver 2 one chapter ago

Keep playing with them bro Family always first. I also went through this experience but as we went down in rank we learned and now we are Elite 70%
Put the family first. Not directing this towards you but it’s crazy people put a few pixels in a picture of an icon over friends and stuff.
Yeah I realised this last week. Turns out we just didn't have enough trust in each other as we argue all the time over who's the best. Always pushing alone was a result of this and gave us the illusion we weren't right for eachother. Thanks for the advice

Im in elite, as of today. Im not sure if anyone plays like us, we are older gamers. We play as a team of two and play ranked squads (no fill of course). We do not land together or really even close to each other, in pubs its always 4 cornerish and that translates to most of ranked for us. We have a placement approach, out of 140ish games played this season we are at 130 top 6...
Tbh end game ends for us ALOT at second place when its 4v1, 4v2 etc....
We love the stealthy play for the end of it, the team is there but at the beginning each of us are on our own.
Thoughts?
We have played since honest beta with no seasons, skins or anything other than a start button so we have done this for thousands of hours...
Do you know how ranked works like is placement the best way to go?

@@breezybaby5863 the later in the game the kill is - the more it's worth. The longer the members on the squad live as a whole the more points... It's weird..

Cover yourself up with a full box with a cone inside, if someone tries to get your wall try to get a peek and a good shot off it they'll get nervous and overbuild and you will get the chance to heal up (this is just an example but they can you hear you healing

bro I just need consistent fps to destroy these ranked lobbies like my GPU is bad and that's why I dont get enough fps to fight people and mostly they just spam grenade launcher like wth r u even playing just spaming grenade and that causes my fps to lower Like 40 something..

I got to elite in about 17 hours and I played passive in diamond rank and elite rank just need to stay consistent and DONT DIE OFF SPON play smart and play for end game I like to wait to fight till last 2 teams unless I have a easy kill on someone
Duos is what I have been on I'm a little above average and my friend is about average players are most the time a lot better then us in elite

if you play solo you're gonna rank up the fastest,because when you play squads and you or your team get a kill, it's only 0.25 of a kill in solo
so if you get 1 kill in diamond and rank up 4%, in squads you need to get 4 times that amount of kills
this goes for duos, but here 1kill=0.5...
But in squads if you come across another squad then kill 4 people thats at least 0.25 per kill, 4 people killed = 1

@@tylow3229elite is easy but champs is stressful as hell since its full of really good players and u get less points for kills and placement so it takes a while, im champs 40% and its really hard to go up percent
@@tylow3229I just started playing again after a few years and im in elite, its not hard to hit elite but ranking up is getting kinda hard now you get almost no points but its only 1 rank so it makes sense

I am a placement warrior so I don't really get many kills I just have good final zones movement and I really try to get a late game kit so heals stinks and a shotgun AR loadout and definitely need a grappler I consistently place top 5 it only gets a few percents per game but it got me to champion %33 still pushing to unreal then when I get there ill be more aggressive because it allows me to practice against good players with no real risk since you can't derank once you get to unreal don't be ashamed to hide it got me very far Im in the top 0.1% for the amount of top 5 placements I have

so my trio usually play squad, only 3 of us at first it was actually really easy around plat to elite we were getting average 40 squad elims and win almost every game so we got to elite within 2 days… currently were on 60% champion (we hit elite around yesterday) were getting average 20 elims but we win atleast once every 5 games smthing like that so were getting unreal by tmrw. all we do is hit either pleasant park or loot lake then we just w key. (all 3 of us have crazy mechanics)
