I'm thinking of getting this lens as a canon C100 II walk-around. I'm very glad you put this up but was a bit disturbed as the image seemed slightly stretched laterally. You see it especially in the science centre dome that looks somewhat squashed. At first, I thought it was bad barrel distortion at the short FLs. IBut I suspect that the aspect ratio got messed up - maybe during UA-cam conversion. Sigh of relief!
Do you know if its possible to do manual focus while shutter half-pressed (in AF mode)? I own one of this lens, but i can only do manual focus in AF mode with the shutter released, otherwise sounds like the AF motor struggling with the focus ring. Nice video and Thanks for the information!
