Just finished doing the same exact job and it was A biscuit getting those things out..after paying a few people to help me and still losing the battle..I said a prayer and God for patients after that everything came together like a puzzle 🙏 Some people make it look easy but it can be a pain in moon gear 😅 Thanks for sharing your experience 😀
I'm getting ready to do this job myself for the first time on my mom's 2004 Monte Carlo I am working on getting the ownership of as she just passed Away and loved that car more than anything! Unfortunately she had a title loan against the car and it's $600 to clear it for me to get the car in my name and I lost my job due to factory shutdown so I'm praying I can somehow make this happen and bring the car back to life in memory of my mother! Those back plugs look like they'll be fun that's for sure!
If the boots are really on there. What you do is grab the rubber boot with your fingers just above it's heat shields Then twist it around back and fourth until you feel movement. Doing that will free it up. Once you have movement turning left and right. The boots will pull off easier :) Instead of just trying to pull and pull. struggling forever .........CHEERS :)

Dude a broken plug, that doesn't look good. But I know, you have to get used to doing it. I'm gonna try it. Thanks
I have a 2000 Monte SS.
Damn dude I’m stuck on the back one but the one that is farthest away from the alternator. I at least got the boot off.
Yeah they're not fun... just have to keep wiggling from every angle and it'll come off eventually
Got it man 😭🙏🏽
They sure didn't make it easy that for sure
